Babies R Us Cool Mist Humidifier

This was on my registry. When I got it, we set it up pretty quickly; my newborn had a cold and needed it. The first night, all was well. The next night, the humidifier began to leak underneath the unit, even though we didn't use it. We woke up to find a carpet full of water. We tried everything to make sure we weren't doing something wrong and we double-checked the instructions. We then filled the unit in the sink and watched water pour out of the bottom. I ended up returning it and getting another one. We had the same problem with the second one. The first night was fine, then it leaked all over the bookcase and floor sometime during the second day.I don't know where we screwed up. I've never had two units with the same problem. And what sucks is that the one day it DID work, it worked very, very well. We'll have to try again with a different one...

I have 2 of these and love them! Warning: don't make the mistake of putting essential oils in the basin - only put them on the sponge at the top. I made that mistake and both units cracked overnight and had to be replaced - but it was my fault and I'll get the same one again without hesitation.
