Bright Sewing Strip Light with Touch Dimmer Cold White 6500K

Anyone that sews knows that light, good light, is essential. I had no clue what I was missing until I installed this light. OMG. If you're on the fence about this... DO IT. The light installs easy, just cut on the line, peel and stick. The light is dimmable, never too bright. The cable is small and easy to tuck out of the way with the long cord and the sticky keepers. I am a custom clothier/alterationist and this is worth it.

I like this light a lot but it was longer than I had room for on my machine. I really appreciate the illumination.

My studio is pretty dark so I have a lot of various lamps set up around my work area. But this still wasn't enough for sewing all the black fabrics I work with. As soon as I saw these lights I had to order them for myself. You stick tiny plastic brackets where you want the strip to adhere, peel off the paper backing, and stick them on. In the month I've used these lights (a whole lot) about half of the brackets have started coming off of my machine, but I'll probably just put a small drop of hot glue on them to keep them in place. These lights are worth rigging. As for the light itself, WOW! It's so bright!! I can see all my tiny stitching in the deepest of black fabrics. You hear people say they don't know how they got by without a certain product, but for real, this has made my sewing so much easier that I never again want to be without a strip of lights like these.
