The L-Cheapo laser cutter is an open source, open schematic accessory for your 3D printer that allows you to cut and engrave wood, acrylic, fabric, foam, proto boards, and other nonmetallic materials. It is usable with most 3D printers and will work with existing CAD and 3D printing software. Unlike other solid state laser engravers, this will actually cut through acrylic and wood. Easy conversion of a cheap 3d printer
With this laser setup it is 3 wires that need to be wired up to make the 3d printer converted into a laser. I had an old Anet A8 that was collecting dust and now have been able to add back into my maker space.Robots Everywhere's customer support is top notch. I needed to contact the company as there was no specific instructions for my specific board. He worked hard to ensure that it worked flawlessly.

I contacted Matteo from Robots Everywhere on a Thursday. He promptly answered a lot of my questions through email. Then he had a Laser module shipped out to me the next morning. I received it that Sunday in the mail. The customer service and support were on par and of the highest level I have ever received from any company. He also spent a lot of time answering other questions that I had post purchase to ensure I was setting up my new laser properly. Now about the actual product! I had purchased one of the 15W laser modules on eBay that come from China and not only was there no technical support or documentation but it burned out after just a couple of weeks. The L-Cheap laser modules are like night and day in comparison. It works great and I have used it to cut out several intricate drawings so far. I really love this laser and I am using it with the OpenBuilds Acro system. I will definitely buy from Robots Everywhere again and I highly recommend them.

American Made Laser
I have to recommend these guys every time! I have gone through a couple of different lasers and this is by FAR the BEST for the price. Not only is the laser a great price but the employees (Especially Matteo) are ALWAYS helpful. Anytime I have a question they get back to me the same day almost EVERY TIME. I RECOMMEND them 100%, great product, great customer service and they stand behind their products.

I love this laser
I love this laser. It has more power than I will need. It will cut as well as engrave. It came quickly. The installation was easy thanks to the laser being setup for my engraver. I could not be happier with my decision to buy this laser.
