Waxy watery texture and horrible after taste
I wanted a protein shake without the nasty synthetic fillers so decided to try this product as it uses stevia, a natural sweetener. I prepared this product in a blender with unsweetened almond milk and I found it undrinkable. I have tried whey, soy and hemp protein powders before and all of them were palatable. The good: The shake blends very easily. The bad:-No serving spoon provided-Watery consistency-Waxy and greasy texture-Bitter and oddly sweet aftertaste-Earthy flavour (I love hemp powder so not sure why this doesn't work)Overall this wasn't for me.

Deliciously thick and not overly sweet
Really happy to see the matcha flavour, it's not too strong. I wanted something different rather than just boring chocolate. These powders make a thicker mix than typical protein shakes, I actually really like it, feels more substantial. Not super sweet like the common brands. I use 200 ml water to 100 ml oat milk, generally. I find it really satisfying for a morning.I also bought the Cocao and Maca, but I don't think it tastes that much different in honesty. There's a very very subtle cocao hit after but it's very light... both are tasty though, no real complaints but if you want a cocao flavour it's probably not here.

A great tasting matcha protein shake
A great tasting matcha protein shake. Doesn't come with a measuring scoop but easy enough to get a good tasting shake. Pulsin are a well known and quality supplier - and I personally love the vanilla / matcha combination. It mixes well with an automated shake mixer - I haven't tried hand mixing it. I also feel it gives me a good energy boost when I mix it with blueberries and bananas. I tend to use oat based milks as a base - but that is just personal preference. And my sons always look at me oddly for drinking a blue shake ... :-)

Much, much nicer than I expected!
I was a bit sceptical about this product, because I usually wouldn't drink matcha and I don't like the taste of spirulina. I am constantly on the lookout for a nice-tasting vegan protein shake, so I make a point of at least trying every protein powder out there. I bought the smallest bag they had, thinking that if it turns out to be horrible, my boyfriend - who loves matcha - would be happy to drink it. He ended up not even trying it, because I drank all of it myself! I am very surprised by how nice this product tastes, especially when blended with 150ml of non-diary milk, half a banana, and some water! I am buying a bigger bag this time.

Try before you buy
Omg pulsin 😝 I usually love their products so much so I just assumed I would love their protein... that confident in the brand I mistakingly bought 4 bags (1 choc & 3 vanilla)! How wrong could I have been. I Should have tested first, lesson learnt.I think to be fair I have a sweet tooth and I like my proteins to be sweet, I found the non-sweet flavour too earthy for my likings, maybe the peas.... and the vanilla (probs cause all other brands colour theirs) however it’s green, again maybe the peas. It’s a massive NO from me, and a wasted £50, although I will continue to buy the choc chip bars Pulsin :)

Great taste
Great tasting product but I had an intolerance to the sweetener they use. Wish they’d stop putting sweeteners in.In fact after trying so many others this is definitely the best tasting one.

Jury's out
Really liked the matcha vanilla version. This one, not entirely sure about. It tastes a bit synthetic which puts me off a bit. I love tart cherries as much as the next person but I can't really detect much of that flavour here.

Yummy
Really delicious strawberry flavour and satisfying. Great, easy source of plant protein. I mix it with oat milk rather than just water but you need to mix it really well as it does turn lumpy. Still, good value for money and I will buy again.
