TOOGOO Grape Purple Rubberized Protector Case for Samsung Infuse 4G i997

I bought this expecting I would be replacing it with an Otter or Ballistic case once I had saved up for one but I think I will just stick with this one.PROS* Perfect Fit - It snapped right into place* Nice color - Actually it's not as bright as I thought it would be (If purple is not your color they do have it available in  Blue Rubberized Protector Case for Samsung Infuse i997 and  Black Rubberized Protector Hard Case for Samsung Infuse 4G )* Just bulky enough - While I appreciate the slim profile of the phone without the case it makes it hard to hold. This case adds just enough bulk/weight so I don't see it easily slipping out of my hands and onto the floor* Cheap - Self explanatoryCONS (minor)* Very secure casing - Once its on it doesn't come off. I placed a screen cover on it haphazardly in my rush to see what the phone would look like in the case. I had planned on adjusting/reapplying the screen cover later, however I haven't been able to pry the case off. So if you plan on putting a screen cover on make sure you have it just right before you decide to put the case on.* Insulator (?) - I may just not have noticed it before but when charging the phone the back seems to get hot right below the back facing lens. Not sure if this is normal for the phone or an effect of the casing. Also if it is it may just be something that happens with any casing, I haven't owned enough smart phones to be sure.All in all I say its a good deal for regular users like myself. Maybe not sturdy enough for those working in construction/extreme sports though.

Cons:When purchased, I thought I was actually buying a rubber case, when it's truly a hard case with a rubber coating.The coloring was a lot different than shown here. I received a reddish metallic purple - almost a metallic mulberry.Pros:It's a solid casing that doesn't fall off.That said, a lot of reviews said that the case is very hard to open and that they have damaged the phone trying to pry it off. One of the first things I tried after I put the cover on was removing it. I had no problems with it. There is a small open section on the right side that you fit a coin in. I used a dime, twisted, and it popped open. I'm not sure if other reviewers knew about that as a LOT of 1980s toys had backings you had to use a coin to open. It just seemed logical to do here.

this is an excellent case for the price i paid. It gives a good grip, has a nice color( though not exactly what shown in picture) and has protected my phone from damage on several drops! It is hard to get off if you need to remove the battery cover for some reason, but i dont think thats necessarily a bad thing because it means the phone is secure inside of it. Mine has lasted about 9 months and im rebuying the same one to replace the first! over time the rubber coating starts to discolor and peel away, plus the last time i dropped it, some of the plastic clips that hold it together broke. Overall an great buy for the price.

Good case

I am happy with this product, and the reasonable price. It is hard plastic with a thin rubberized coating on the back... snaps together and fits perfectly. It looks like good protection, but you will forgive me for not deliberately dropping it onto a concrete floor to test that. The color is neon-bright as shown - really stands out - and the coating has a matte finish so it doesn't show fingerprints like the smooth shiny plastic cases. Be advised that it probably won't fit in most of the leather holsters or cases though... the extra length makes the phone too big to fit. I finally found a case that does fit the infuse with this case: it is advertised as Premium Design Vertical Swivel Belt Clip Magnetic Closing Flap Pouch Case for Samsung Infuse i997 + Bonus Click Action Aluminum Barrel Ball Point Pen.

The the past, I bought lots of covers for my Infuse phone. The silicone ones all were thin and flimsy and just did not last. However, I bought this one back in 2012 when I still had my Samsung Infuse. Since then I passed on the Infuse with this purple cover to a relative who is hard on phones and very hard on phone covers. She is still using this phone cover! And I just saw it yesterday and it still looks NEW! This is amazing that this cover has been around over a year and used by 2 people and still manages to look new!

Very pretty shade of purple, very easy to put on and just difficult enough to take off that you don't have to worry about it ever coming off on its own. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my charger doesn't like to stay plugged in with the case on. If I wanted to use my phone and charge it at the same time it'd be near impossible.

Pros: fits wonderful and like the fact that the buttons are not covered.Cons: Way too hard to remove the cover. I had to take a butter knife to the edge to remove it and ended up scratching my phone and since I had to use a butter knife, the edges on the cover was never the same. That said, I did buy another one because if it weren't so hard to remove, this cover would be perfect.
