LUVVITT [Ultra Slim 0.6mm Transparent Flexible TPU Soft Cover for Apple iPhone 6/6s Plus (5.5 inch Screen) - Clear

The purpose of this case is to protect the metal parts of the iPhone from scratches and dings. It does a nice job of that while adding very little to the size or bulk of the phone -- in fact it is almost unnoticeable. It also makes the phone easier to hold since its rubber isn't as slippery as the phone's metal.The critical reviews are from people who want or expect more than this case was designed for. It does not protect the glass at all; it fits the metal frame of the phone exactly but ends where the glass begins. It gives only modest protection from damage if you drop the phone -- much better than no case at all but much less than larger, thicker, harder cases. The Luvvitt Clearview gives a little more protection, at the cost of being more intrusive and noticeable; it does, though, extend far enough up around the sides to protect the screen from scratches if you set the phone down face-down.The complaint that this case makes the buttons hard to push is true, though more so with the power button than with the volume buttons. I find that I don't use an iPhone's buttons much but if you do then this may be an issue.

I've been looking for an ultra thin clear case for my new rose gold 6S Plus. And oh by the way, I don't have my new phone so I'm basing this review on how the Luvvitt works with my 6 Plus.Love the fit and decent cutouts. Another reviewer mentioned the off button pressing hard. I find all the buttons to work nicely. This case just barely comes up to the camera and had no lay down screen protection. I don't have a problem with the lack of protection providing the case give a decent grip and it does.Overall very nice case.Update: I've tried a few other thin clear cases and none of them come close to this case. Can barely tell you have a case on. After months of constant wear the case still looks like new - no bruising as others have mentioned and still clear with no yellowing. All my other cases are collecting dust.

I'm not so sure why everyone is complaining that it is paper thin. It says "Super Thin at 0.6mm" in the product description. Do people really think super thin will over any sort of protection from drops? No. Of course not. Be reasonable. If it did, we wouldn't need packages/styrofoam/air cushions. Jeeze. That being said, I fee like the quality and fit of this case is not up to par. Yes I know it is only $6. But read the product description:"Ultra-low profile. Made of high-quality Japanese TPU/rubber. Super-long life."- The quality of the skin isn't that good. Its not as strong as it is led to believe. I know this because mine ripped. I've been to japan, I've felt high quality Japanese TPU/Rubber. In my opinion is this it? No. Can I prove it? No. That's what an opinion is."Quick and easy access to ports and buttons."- Ports? Yes. Buttons? Not so much. The power button has a cover but the cover doesn't sit on the power button. What does that mean? You have to press pretty hard to hit the power button. Same with both the volume buttons.

I have both this case and the LUVVITT Clearview case. They're my favorite cases by far because they're slim and simple, but the Clearview is much better quality and I'd recommend that one over this one any day. Like it says it's "ultra slim" so this case is extremely low profile and will provide no protection except scratches on the back. If you want something that practically isn't there this is the case for you. The Clearview was slightly thicker but provides more coverage and protection and is better quality, this one seems poorly made because it is so thin. Overall it fits the description the buyer gives and fits my 6plus perfectly.

I bought this Luvvitt clear case for my iPhone 6 Plus because I had a clear Luvvitt case on my iPhone 5s and loved it. However, the one for the 6 Plus is just too flimsy on the sides and it was very easy to remove, which gave me concerns. I also didn't think it came up high enough on the front edges to offer much protection. It is elegant in that you see the beauty of the iPhone, but I felt like it offered very minimal protection. The Tech Armor case is much better. The sides are more sturdy and come up a little higher to give protection around the front edges. I would recommend the Tech Armor clear case over this one. It is the perfect case for protection without compromising elegance. Sorry, Luvvitt, but I think you need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

It was a great product at first, very slim but it would add a nice layer of protection, I even dropped my phone once with no visible damage and it feel great on the hands but the product started changing color just a few months after use, it got darker from dirt and oils from hand.

Is thing is super slim, I wonder how much protection it will actually give, it will definitely protect from scratches, I am not sure about major impacts tho. I bought it because it was clear and slim, why would anyone want to hide the rose-gold color?

Pros:- NO injection moulding seal on the sides!!- Ultra slim- Decent quality- Can stick to glass/mirror even when dry (suction increases with a bit of water)Cons:- Luvvitt logo at the back, which could be made even smaller- Fit could be tiny bit tighter, so that the interface with the glass could be smoother (minor point)- A little bit of wear after 2 weeks of use (as expected)

Bought 2 of these for me and wife's iPhones. Very thin, just what I like. Phones like there's no cover. Very nice on the phones. All holes in right places as so as button covers.
