Your Fender Dream Come True
I've been dabbling with a Fender acoustic for years then did some research on electric guitars and ended up buying this American-made Fender strat Performer. Must have looked through hundreds of guitars and visited and played them at places like Guitar Center. This instrument is pure joy to play, has easy, comfortable action and an impeccable finish. I can't think of anything negative about it. I thought about buying used but then decided to get new with a warranty and without all the scratches and wear marks from years of use by someone else. Some of the used ones from the 60s go for thousands and look like junk. I played one from the 60s years ago and it didn't sound any better than this one. All around very satisfied and probably the last guitar I'll ever own.

Fantastic Guitar!!!
I’ve played guitar for around 40 years. I just got this guitar back from the setup tech and I will say it is bar none, the finest musical instrument I’ve ever played. The tonal options are phenomenal. The split coil humbucker is amazing! Ive had to adjust my picking and fingering to accommodate the ease with which the notes flow from the fretboard. The tremolo feels very precision and seems to ‘activate’ with slightest touch. The tuners are smooth and have a quality feel and finish. Amazing!!!

This used (MINT CONDITION) needs s lot of work.
It appears to have a less than "Beautiful" Rosewood Fingerboard. It still remains to be properly set up and tuned. I cannot comment on the musical quality yet. New strings will help. It is the worst guitar I have ever purchased. It sounds buzzy and rattly and without any warm tone. The "Drop-in" tuning machines are VERY difficult to use, I prefer ordinary side string inserts. I wish I had bought a Jazzmaster instead of wasting my time and money on a modern "Performer" Fender Stratocaster guitar. Bailey Brothers Music wasn't much help.

Buy the best guitar you can reasonably afford
This instrument is a pure pleasure to play and it sounds like a Fender. It did not come with the locking tuners so I ordered the locking tuners but have not installed them yet.
