Kenmore 89593 15" Ice Maker with Drain Pump, Stainless Steel

Overall, I am very happy. There are a couple of things that could be improved. The whirlpool and kitchenaid ice makers are all exactly the same, they even have the same instruction book. I chose the Kenmore for the price and the fact that it matches the rest of my appliances.Having owned an older version, this is much quieter. However, if you have never owned an icemaker before, they are still louder than one would imagine.Speaking of the older version, the compressor when out after about 5 years and was going to cost more than a new unit to fix. I am hopeful this one will last longer.
