The plug is advertised as being 5 amp but is only marked as 2.5 and fitted with a 3 amp fuse.Worked okay for what it was intended for but worth checking required amperage ratings before buying.

On the plus side: It works.On the minus side: The whole point of this is to hold a Euro plug firmly in place. And what the manufacturer doesn't tell you is there's a few designs of Euro plug, and not all of them will be secured firmly in this adapter. Go buy yourself a proper UK plug, cut off the old one and change it.

Easy to apply and perfect for my equipment defo worth the money

Adaptor did not appear to fit 2 pin plug on jig saw, properly so threw away without using. The jigsaw bought from a separate source was also underdescribed so disposed of that too, Caveat Emptor with akll of this electrical stuff.

Judging from the mixed reviews, it seems that each mould is different which is why some fit and some don't. I had to break the plastic parts with pliers to align the metal so that the plug pins would fit. Far from ideal when dealing with components which plug directly into the mains. Would definitely fail a PAT test.

No more giggling about to get your shaver to work, once you have put the 2 pins into the sockets, secure it by screwing it together. Your done a sturdy connection. Brilliant.
