Skip Hop Via Messenger Diaper Bag Green (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

First off, I love the color of this bag. I wanted something that wasn't black that both my husband and I could use. It is a great green color. It's a good size, stands up straight no matter what, and has a lot of pockets. Almost too many pockets for when I go looking for something, but still nice to have. It comes with the changing pad which I love. This is a great bag and I recommend to everyone!

I was hesitant to buy this bag as a lot of the reviews said it was very small and as a mom of two (one in diapers and a toddler in pullups) I needed something that could hold a lot of stuff. After packing this bag though I was definitely surprised by how much it could hold. And I mean comfortably hold - not everything is stuffed in and I need to pry things out kind of hold. To help anyone who is on the fence, here is what I was able to fit in the bag:The front flap has two pockets - in one I fit my keys and in the other my phone. I have an LG G3 so it is a pretty large phone, bigger than the Galaxy 5 if that helps.Then there are two zippered pockets - the one of the bottom I used as my Mommy pocket and it has a wallet, a note pad and pens and a travel sized deodorant. One the top pocket I have a makeup bag that is filled with first aid supplies, a pack of tissues and a travel hair brush.The back of the bag has three pockets - one with a changing pad, one with the special antimicrobial lining that I kept emply so that I can put toys or utensils when they are used and the third pocket on top I fit a thin blanket.Inside the bag:-one pocket has five size 3 diapers-one pocket has 3 toddler pull ups-one pocket has a package of potty covers, a package of table top covers, my wipes case and as empty folded ju-ju be mess shuttle-the small side pocket has a Dr Brown's bottle-in the main space in from of the zippered pocket I have a pouch with contains a change of clothes for my baby and my toddlerI hope that gives you an idea of what the bag can hold. The messenger strap is standard and the padded part was pretty comfy. All in all I am pretty happy with the purchase!

I just replaced this diaper bag today (after 16 months) so I thought I would write a quick review. The bag needs to be about 2 inches wider. The material is not durable, it will start to fall apart over use in about 6 months. My neighbor had the same bag and I noticed the same wear on hers. I initially loved the look of the bag and the messenger style. After a while I found the many pockets to be, well, too many. We just got back from a trip and a bottle of Tylenol was the culprit of a security search. I didn't know it was in there because of the many compartments! My husband and I found the flap to be annoying so the new diaper bag we purchased today has no flap. The changing pad stained easily (so did many other places on the bag) and frayed into pieces. We had the green version of this bag. You may want to invest $80 on another bag but it was cute! That's the most positive thing I can say about it.

Exactly what we need. Very compact yet lots of zipper compartments. Well made and easy to clean. Highly recommended.

This is a great day bag. For overnighters, Iʻm going to need something bigger. But I was really impressed with the quality of this bag. All the materials were of a much higher quality than I expected. The material is sturdy, the pockets and compartments are well-constructed, and the zippers and other metal components are heavy and durable. I love the anti-microbial lined pocket for dirty diapers, and I love how it attaches to my stroller. One thing I will say, is that I think it would be impossible to close this bag if there were something in every pocket. There are a LOT of pockets. The bag would benefit from having a little more width in the main compartment. But since I only have one baby for the time being, we tend to travel pretty light anyway. I put my water bottle, wallet, sunglasses, and lip balm in it, so itʻs my purse too. I would buy from Skip Hop again.

I researched diaper bags FOREVER before settling on the Skip Hop Via Messenger bag--I loved the color and the fact that it wasn't cutesy like most diaper bags . I was really happy with this bag when I first got it--it felt really sturdy and well-made. And although a lot of reviewers complain about how small the bag is, I don't need to carry all that much for my son right now (a few diapers, wipes, a change of clothes just in case) so it seemed perfect for me.However, after 6 weeks of minimal use, the elastic at the top of one of the interior pockets separated from the pocket itself. I wasn't stuffing a dozen diapers in the pocket either--just a small digital camera. So disappointed . . .Luckily, Amazon agreed to send me a replacement bag--but I just received the replacement, and the new bag does not seem nearly as nice. It's a slightly lighter shade of green (fine), but the pockets and straps are a platinum color instead of a nice rich charcoal. And the material feels a bit flimsier--stiffer and more plastic-y. So, I may end up keeping my original, damaged bag . . . although the ripped pocket is pretty much useless now and makes me a bit angry every time I see it.I might just need to keep looking for the perfect diaper bag.

This diaper bag is so cute!! Best color. Comfortable to wear and lots of storage.

I have used this bag for just over 3 months. Not even heavy duty every day use, probably twice a week on average. And yet the inner pockets are ripping away from the seams. They are poorly sewn. I am very disappointed in this bag and would not recommend buying it.

First baby is due very soon so haven't actually used this yet, but cannot wait to! It's got lots of pockets, ones on front very handy for mom stuff! Seems spacious inside with plenty more pockets. The buggy clips seem very handy too. Love the colour, kind of olive/khaki green and all wipe clean material. Would definitely recommend d, and haven't seen another bag like it anywhere. It is pricey but when you think you will use it every day for the next two years or so it's well worth it.

The bag is funky looking with lots of pockets to stash your stuff...but it can get quite tight in the middle (main compartment) when the pockets are filled. Anyway, I still love it. Good for one baby but not big enough for two.
