YAY! I can SOAK AGAIN!! Our new place is perfect; but it does not have a tub.
YAY! I can Soak Again!! Our new place is perfect; but it does not have a tub. I had only been able to shower. I was missing my soaks and steamy time. The other soaking tubs would not work, since we have two built in bench seats and no place to put them! I was SUPER Excited to find this bathtub! It is PERFECT! It fits in my shower, between the bench Seats PERFECTLY!! YAY! The instructions are in Japanese {I think} but it goes together easily & perfectly with photos! It does look like they have other fun things in the catalog, too. I might like to find the thing that makes Bubbles! It does hold heat! I actually need to add water that is less hot. I have been too warm. It does work well with Epsom Salt & Magnesium Chloride Flakes. I have also added therapeutic grade Essential Oils. I love the Pillow that it comes with. I thought that I might sit on it; but the bottom of the tub has been padded enough for my comfort. It does have a smell! I had to let it outgass. In my more sensitive times, I might not have been able to use it. I also added some mint essential oils to help with the smell. We did have issues with draining, since we had to place the tub over the drain in our shower. We had an older plastic cutting board that we were able to place under the edge of the tub, to help lift it a little, so water could get under it to drain. {we did that before we added water to tub!} I am 5’2”, with a short torso... I can see over the side of the tub! I could see how some people might need help with getting in an out! We wipe it down with White Vinegar, after we drain it! Then rinse and turn it upside down. I thought that I read that two people could fit in the tub. I have no idea what two people that they got into this tub and what they were doing. I am tiny & hubby is skinny.. We did not see that happening. It is a good size tub!

Notes on a Great Product
I ordered this tub about a month ago and decided to wait to write a review. Now that I've successfully and unsuccessfully used it 5 or 6 times, here's my notes on the product: *Yes, it REALLY IS too heavy to move after you fill it, even a little. Don't be like me and foolishly assume you can drag it back to the nearest drain when you're ready to empty. That way madness lies. *Yes, it REALLY IS big enough for an adult. Granted, I'm a small adult (5'2") but that just means I don't have to fill it all the way to be fully submerged. Win-win! *I have done my darnedest to find some kind of pipe or tube system that I could use to fill/empty this without flooding the living room. To date, the only thing that has worked is buckets, and I'm not THAT determined to be able to soak in front of the TV. *Now I just plop it into the tub/shower combo that I have and let it fill from the showerhead, and it works great. But MAKE SURE YOU SET IT UP WITH THE DRAIN ON THE SAME SIDE AS YOUR TUB DRAIN...trust me again...that way madness lies also. *The water in this tub stays HOT, and I mean for HOURS. This is not so good if you accidentally run your bath too hot to start with, but awesome if you get out and come back, or just accidentally forget about it for a while...not that I would do such a thing. *The pump that comes with it is pretty self-explanatory to use and is great at inflating, but not so great at deflating. I live alone and have a huge bathroom, so it just gets stored upright on the floor where it can dry out between uses. If you plan to set up and break down, though, you'll want an air mattress pump or similar for the deflating part. Anyway, this is a pretty rad little soaker tub and I'd buy it again anytime (I guess technically I already have, since my first order was damaged in transit and I still haven't got a refund....WORTH IT THOUGH because of how awful the tub in my apartment is.) For the first time I can get in the tub and be submerged up to my shoulders in nice warm water without having to clean a bathtub first or getting disappointed when it's a cold bath in ten minutes. Definitely recommend as a first step toward getting a more permanent deep soaker! It's addictive.

nice!
this inflatable bathtub suits my purposes and i really love being able to have a deep soak and fit in the tub perfectly - the tub is actually larger than i imagined but i can't see this tub being big enough for two people except if they are tiny people. I actually got it for cold therapy but right now too chicken to use it for that purpose - but i love doing the epsom salt soaks - keeps water warm and although this tub can fit in my bathtub I actually decided prefer not to put it there - so i purchased a hard plastic washing machine drain pan for about $19 on Amazon and I am going to place it in the middle of the bathroom (it really doesn't need it but i like the idea in case that little valve at the bottom of the inflatable tub gets loose/leaky somehow) - I also purchased a utility pump so i can be away from the drain yet not have to exert too much energy emptying the thing - haven't tried it yet - waiting on the delivery of a longer hose. All in all i think an excellent purchase - worth every penny . edit: i received my superior pump 91250 and longer hoses - and I did figure out a way to use the Amazon recommended parts using 99555 valve kit (partial use-you have to play with it and take it apart and see how to use) i like the valve because internally it has .. wait for it - a valve that helps the water not flow back down into the pump but of course my use is small scale but helps to keep water drips at a manageable level. So now i can make use of the tub more often and i do use the heck out of it - makes short work of emptying the tub - and yes where do you put it all - but you work it out - so worth it to me edit 1-21-2017 - have not even had two months - i still love this tub but..... the inflatable doesn't hold air any longer and i did everything according to directions including not overfilling the inflatable part - the inflatable ring adds stability to the product - i am fixing the issue which is a cut in the vinyl - not sure what would have caused since its on the outside of the ring but we will see if patch holds- take away one star

Beyond grateful to have my first nice bath in 5 years!
I hardly ever leave reviews (maybe I never have?) but I wanted to tell you guys how happy I am that I got this tub. When I bought my house, it didn't occur to me to lie in the bathtub to make sure it was comfy and upon moving in, it was devastating to find out that my tub is probably the most uncomfortable tub ever. The walls go up straight, there's no way to get comfortable. I will fill it with hot water and sit in it for a bit when I get really cold and only hot water will warm me up, but it only covers my lower half and who wants to sit straight up in a tub with nothing to lean back against? I had resigned myself to the fact that I would never have a nice bath here. Or maybe ever, if I were to stay here. I started researching the cost of replacing a bathtub, and I'm not even kidding when I say that I was almost convinced it would be worth blowing my savings on; that is how much I wanted a bath. I started googling possible solutions and some user on some forum posted a link to this product. I was skeptical. It looks cheap and tacky and who would bathe in a plastic bathtub, amiright? You guys, it's worth every penny! I got it today, put it together in about 3 minutes, squished it into my tub (it definitely made it bit smaller and more oval-shaped) and started filling it with my showerhead, which has a spray setting. I got in when it was only about 1/4 full and just let the water spray into the tub with me in it; it was like a jacuzzi! I am 5'0 tall, about 120 pounds, so I am small, but this thing didn't feel cramped at ALL. I could stretch my legs about 2/3 of the way out. I didn't even have to cross my legs, just my ankles! And my legs didn't even touch the sides. I thought it would feel flimsy to lean back on but it feels very solid and me leaning back in it doesn't move it at all. (Just make sure when you put it in your tub that you're not going to be leaning against a support pole, because once it starts filling up, you cannot move this thing.) I was leaning back with both my arms floating in the water and neither of them even touched the sides. I was in it for about 30 minutes and the water never seemed to lose any heat. I might try to roll the top down as others have done because I like keeping my face cool so that I don't overheat and this thing has really high sides. The smell was honestly not that strong and not that bad. If you have ever blown up a child's swimming pool or a swimming floatie (like the seahorse rings that kids wear around their waist), that is what it smelled like. Noticeable but not strong and not enough to bother me. If you are on the fence about this purchase, but you really miss baths and feel like being able to take them would add to your quality of life, buy it! It is SO nice to be able to relax in a hot bath again. It was a long 5 years!

BUY THE TUB
YOU NEED THIS TUB. I waited over a year, trying to decide if a portable tub was really worth it. "There are two tubs in the house" my family and friends would say. But neither tub would let you be submerged up to your neck if you were lying down. In one, I couldn't even get my toes under the surface unless I contorted my body. In the other, a family member suggested to "use wet towels for warmth". Even if I did use them, the water would quickly cool off and I would have to add hot water. It was not great. I longed for European tubs. Tubs like they had in France and Sweden, where I had spent a significant amount of time. Tubs where the water went up to your neck, and it was luxurious. But alas, I just had a shower. And the too small tubs if I wanted to use a tub in a strange part of the house. After reading many reviews, trying to find videos on the Internet, and trying to cut back my spending, I finally decided that what I wanted in the cold winter was to take a bath. Because of COVID, a hot tub was not an option, and really, who wants to buy a hot tub or use a public one? So much chlorine and yuckness. So I ordered this tub. Set up time took 6 minutes and 40 seconds on my first try. I am confident that could be decreased to under 5 minutes. Fill time took an hour using my shower head. I filled the tub up 2/3 of the way with the hottest water I could just to see how it would work. Once the tub was full, I had to wait 45 minutes for a meeting. I finally got in and the water was TOO HOT. That's right, after 45 minutes the water was too hot. I ended up adding some ice cold water to cool it down a little. But once I finally got inside? It was everything I had hoped for! Finally- a tub in my home where I can comfortably sit and be submerged up to my neck. I added epsom salts, turned on Netflix, grabbed a beverage, and relaxed. Oh and did I mention this was only $60 at the time of purchase? That's cheaper than a gym membership AND I don't have to worry about being exposed to COVID! Buy the tub. Even if it breaks eventually, I will be buying another. The material is high quality and it works better than both bathtubs in my home. The price is simply unbeatable. PROS: - stays warm for a long time - lightweight material - easy and fast to put together - cushioned bottom - better than the actual tubs I own CONS: - I would love some sort of cover where I could place a beverage or iPad. - Slow to fill, but that all depends on your water. That is all. Seriously. I love this tub.

Good soaker tub
I just got my new tub. The tub itself is awesome. It is strong material, like a kiddie pool. It is much bigger than I expected and doesn't fit into my corner shower. Thus, it takes up 1/4 of my tiny 6'x6' bathroom. The air pump and hose are very cheap, so I'm not sure how long they will last; probably not long..I already put a tiny rip in the hose just attaching it to the spout. The only thing you need the air pump for is the top ring (to keep water from going over the top, I presume.) If you don't fill it too full I don't think you even need the pump. The drain hose is another story. Also, be prepared to use LOTS of water, even half full it seems to take a lot more water than a regular tub. . I am just using it as a soaker tub for my fibromyalgia, not as a regular tub so I don't have to drain it every time, just add a little hot water each time. I only filled it 1/4 full today (1/2 full when I sat in it) and enjoyed a good long hot soak and it helped my pain. I put it against a wall so I could lean back with my legs crossed. Quite comfy!

Best thing EVER.
**Update!** I did discover one problem. I've been using the tub for about a year now. I still love it. Friends bought it, they love it. But I just bought a new house and in this market I had to jump on what I could get. The ONLY thing I don't absolutely adore about my new home is that there's no tub in the master. But I thought "no bigs, I have my ridiculous portable tub/love of my life." I've kept the tub set up in my shower the entire time, no need to take it down since I hate showers. Only, I went to move it to my new house and it's true: water had gotten into the padded lining at the bottom and I didn't know it. It was definitely heavier than it should have been. It never affected functionality in any way. But I ended up tossing it and now I'm here to order a new one for my new house. I literally don't even care, that's how fabulous it has been taking baths up to my chin. A few "I'm an expert on this tub now" insights: 1. I've seen a couple of reviews that mention a fill line--mine doesn't have one and I've accidentally overfilled it (like overflow when i sit down kind of over filling) and there hasn't been an issue. I drain just a bit and then sit in it and it's up to the rim no problem. Handles it like a champ. 2. One or two ppl said it's flimsy....?! Lolwut? It's super thick, probably 3-5x the thickness of your average kiddie pool. My advice after a year and one known defect? Five stars, AM buying again, still the best $50 I've ever spent. And I'm still cancer free 🙌 Original review: Zomg, yaaaaaasssss. Finally, I can take a bath again. I am not a fan of this 'no tub in the master' trend going around, but thems the breaks when you rent and don't want to buy a home. This was the perfect solution. I have a tub sized shower stall, it fits with plenty of room, has a drain hole in the bottom that I aligned with my shower drain (but has the versatility of a drain pipe out the side in case placement is an issue), and I can sit in water up to my chin! I'm in love. Best $60 I've spent in a long, long time. I also just had a double mastectomy and am only supposed to take showers but this is soft enough on the bottom that I can kneel and still get a soak from the waist down, getting my relaxing "bath fix" despite being slightly/temporarily incapacitated. Bye bye cancer doesn't have to mean bye bye bath! Love this thing.

OMG. Where was this thing for the last three years of my life?!?
Oh wait. I know where it was. It was in the corner of my bedroom because I was afraid to open it and use it for fear of a flood. I live in a third floor apartment with the world’s most uncomfortable tub. That horrid tub is so uncomfortable I have only taken showers since my first few attempts at taking a bath in the tub years ago. I don’t know how you could design a bathtub to be as uncomfortable and painful as the one in my apartment, but someone in 1950 did it. I searched high and low for a solution and finally took the leap and purchased this portable bathtub several years ago. However I live on the third floor. I was terrified of a leak. So it sat in the corner, unopened ever since. Until today. Today is the day everything changed. First off the downside. The little detachable hose they sent is garbage. It would absolutely leak. It was too short and didn’t even fit the drain valve tightly. That’s the only major safety flaw with this portable tub. I’ve had a long stressful week and longed to sit in a hot bubble bath. I decided to drag it out and take a look at this gizmo. I was in for a surprise. It’s very well made and quite large. I only wish it were a little longer so I could stretch my legs out. However cross cross style I can immerse to my shoulders. I am not a small person. This is amazing. The vinyl seems incredibly strong. So how did I make this work since the hose sucks? I put it in my bathtub. That’s right. The shape is flexible enough to sit INSIDE my regular bathtub. I situated it so the drain was in the front by my regular tub drain - but left a six inch gap. The portable tub is shockingly sturdy but also remains flexible enough that it will fit inside your existing tub or in a shower stall. This is BLISS. It’s basically all pros if you don’t have a soaker tub or if your tub is miserably uncomfortable like mine. Super sturdy. Tough. Deep. The design allows it to fit inside my regular bathtub - virtually eliminating worries if Cons, it’s round instead of oblong. If you put it in a shower stall it might be hard to drain if it covers the drain - running the risk of a flood. My work around was going to be ordering plastic deck tile with drainage homes. Then I was going to put those tiles in my stand alone shower to prevent the tub from blocking the drain. Then I realize it would work inside my existing tub and the rest is history. If you need a tub like this, GET IT. Just be smart about how it will drain. Then sit back and enjoy.

Great value for the price!
After studying the other reviews I was finally convinced that this rub would suit my needs. We have a large shower but I needed to be able to take baths for health reasons. The tub was pretty much exactly as advertised, in fact I was surprised how roomy it is, minus the fact you need to sit cross legged. It was easy to set up and I can get my whole body minus my head submerged. I know it’s not the highest quality available but for the price point I think it gets the job done well! Very pleased with my tub.

Happy Life - All My Dreams Fulfilled!
I absolutely love to bathe. However, until last month I thought that a bathtub was one of those luxuries I would have to postpone until I was rich enough to buy or build an appropriate bathtub-equipped house. This delay of gratification has been causing me an immense amount of unrest. I hoarded bath salts and bath bombs and bubble bath to keep my ambitions alive. I tossed and turned all night, dreaming of a long soak in a tub full of bubbles. Only to wake up, and have to take a thoroughly unsatisfying shower. But one morning, awoken from a particularly vivid dream involving a portable plastic bathtub, I sprang from my bed full of inspiration. I went online, and I found the perfect purchase - the G Ganen Happy Life Portable Bathtub. While the photoshopped images of people floating daydream-happy in a cloud of bubbles gave me some pause, there were enough good reviews for me to take the gamble. When it arrived, I still wasn’t sure. But I had the perfect test. When I knew the bathtub was on the way, I went and purchased two packages of a product called “Glitter Slime Baff” in Princess Pink. It has always been my ambition in life to take a bath in a puddle of warm pink slime, and now I finally had the opportunity. I set the bathtub up beside the shower stall (marveling at how compact it was) and followed the package directions on the Slime Baff. I was delighted that I was able to achieve the perfect texture when the bathtub was just over half-full. Of course, I was still dubious that this would be enough of a slime bath. I knew the water would displace somewhat - I am 5’7” in height, about 160 lb (on a good day), but surely I needed more water? Afraid that the slime would become less slimy if I added more, I placed my towel and my Long Island Iced Tea on a stepladder next to the bath (in case I needed help to climb out) and sunk into the glorious hot sludge. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the pinnacle of my life’s experiences so far. The slime reached up to my chest once I was seated, and it was deliciously slimy. I was able to sit cross-legged on the floor of the Happy Life Bathtub with no problems despite my bad knee, thanks to the comfortably cushioned base. I could barely see over the top of the bathtub, thanks to my woefully bad posture. I felt safe, and enclosed, and deliriously warm. The inflatable pillow cradled me gently as I floated in my mire of primordial ooze, gently and slowly rocking me to a drunken, slimy and disconcertingly sparkly sleep. I somehow managed not to knock over the remarkably sturdy bathtub as I snoozed, and only woke up when the slime was getting cold. Getting to my feet carefully (watch out for the slippery plastic, guys!) I felt triumphant. Pink, satisfied, still tipsy, and streaming with translucent goop like Neo freshly birthed from the Matrix. I would like to rate this product 13/10. It met my every need, fulfilled my every desire, and I can die happy knowing that I finally managed to tick something off my bucket list. Follow your dreams! This may look like a kiddie pool on growth hormones, but it is the best thing I have bought in years. (ps. the one i bought also had a plug on the bottom as well as the tap on the side. I positioned it over the drain, and it worked perfectly without flooding the bathroom.)

Grande vasca, piccolo ingombro
Buona qualità per il prezzo pagato. Un po' troppo alta per la mia statura, ma molto comoda per sedercisi dentro. Poter fare un bagno avendo solo la doccia è fantastico!
