Audio Technica ATH-CKP500 BK Black | Waterproof Sports In-Ear Headphones (Japanese Import)

These sound great, but there is one major annoyance for me. I hate it when ear buds have one side longer than the other. I have never understood why anyone would want something like that. If I had noticed this was the case, I might not have purchased them. Another (minor) annoyance is that the ear buds don't quite stay in while I am walking, although they do a lot better than most of my other pairs of ear buds. They are pretty comfortable, though. The build seems very solid, although I have only had them for a month. If you want extreme comfort, try the Bose ear buds. The bad thing about the Bose variety is that while they sound amazing and fit my ear perfectly, I have had two break down in less than a year of gentle use. The cord starts to fray very quickly and in the second pair, the BOSE metallic name on one side fell off! So the Bose ear buds are pretty brittle. These seem much more simple in design and purport to be waterproof so we'll see over time how they hold up. Oh, and they cost a lot less than the Bose.

Sound quality is average, but acceptable, and it is the ONLY set of earphones I have used that do not get damaged when used in heavy rain or from sweat. I have done 3 hour trail runs with them and have never had any problems with fit or the earphones falling out and I sweat profusely when I run here in hot and humid Singapore. They are much cheaper than most other so-called "sports" earphones (which cannot be considered as such) and are very good value.

Great sound, but I accidentally (and with ease) pulled one out of it's attachment so that it was hanging by the wires. I superglued it back but couldn't get it lined up as it was, so now one doesn't fit as it should in my ear. So be mindful that you shouldn't pull too hard on the ear piece for whatever reason. But again, the sound is great! Decent bass plus clarity. (If you exercise outside, you may need to keep the volume lower to hear your environment better).

The design definitely makes it stay firmly in your ear. Sound quality is great considering that you are using it for exercise and not for production or work. You will need to find the ear piece that is the right fit. The one that came attached for me was too big causing irritation after 30min-1hr of use. Overall, pretty happy with the purchase.

This earphone goes beyond my expectation. For the price it is hard to beatFits nicely and comfortably to my ears and sounds good.I am of the opinion that sometimes you may pay 5 times more to have an earphone that is slightly better in one or another aspect so again, this one is unbeatable for the price.Sport earphones are not usually as tough as they should be I mean... tough cord, sweat proof, rain proof, washable etc...This Audio Technica has it all. The earphone gets glued in your ears with the right size pieces and there is no way you can remove them from your ears when exercising no matter which sport you practice.Talking about sound.. it is clear and has good bass not as deep as some more expensive earphones but very enjoyable.I like the fact that the sound quality is good, clear, without distortion so you can adjust your effects to fit your sound style. If the sound is bad there is not much you can adjust with effects but if the sound is not deep but is clear at least you can adjust it well with the effects. I find the sound very enjoyable when using my Ipod with Late Night effect or even Bass Booster.Bottom Line... Very good sound (not a deep fat studio sound but I really enjoy the quality and balance overall)and very tough for sport active people.I use it when cycling, sweating a lot in the gym, under heavy rain or any other extreme condition and I never get worried.Mine is white and even after getting dirty you can wash it so it looks like new again.

l really want to like these ear buds but they don't work for me. They would have been used for running on the street or in the gym so the option to insert the ridged earpiece for street running was a good sell and a brilliant idea.But first, for me, they are too short and with the extension they are too long. Not a good design for a 5ft 3in woman.Second, the sound is good but you will need to crank up the volume to make it sound decent enough. With my old Apple standard ear buds the sound was really good and the iPod did not need to be cranked up.As other reviews mentioned, they DO stay in the ears nicely and are comfortable. Cranked up the sound is pretty good. The poor rating is for the wiring lengths and the extension.

The sound is very good and they fit really well in the ears. Would like them to be in a wireless version. Note that you dont have a mic on this, so not able to answer calls with them on. Only problem but for the music, wow theyre great!

Overall these headphones are great. I just have a bit of trouble getting them adjusted if I'm sweating a lot. It will pull on my ear. It won't come out though. Overall really happy with the product

Fits super well, decent sound quality, the wires are quite durable, and hasn't failed me in any workout routine. Loved it.

ジョギングに使用しますが外れたり、ずれる事もなし。グリップが付いてるのでケーブルのバタつきも最小限に抑えられてます。
