Pretty but not for succulents.
Guess shipping is built into the price-would not have paid this much in person. Size is about a 1/8" wide. Most pebbles are smooth and flat. Not great for succulents-shape is too regular, smooth. Guess it’s aesthetically pleasant. Bag feel as heavy as the size of The Sill's small lava stone bag-at most, 2qts? I expected more product, I have to say.

not shiny, exactly what I was looking for
These pebbles look great as a top dressing for my succulent/cacti pots. Will definitely be buying more. If you are looking for shiny rocks, go buy aquarium rocks.

dull. not shiny
They're tiny but that's ok. When you wash them some of them are definitely not black. I'd say the biggest disappointment is that they are not shiny like the picture. They're dull.

THIS IS NOT BLACK OR LOOKS ANYTHING LIKE THE PICTURES
I Purchased 3 bags of this product and stupidly installed in a gravel pit in dim light. Thinking this was black at the time, I woke up the next morning and saw in day light that the pebbles are not black but blueish grey and not exotic looking, very dull in nature like you see in the bottom of a swimming pool. What a waste of money!

Worked perfect for outdoor railroad
The pebbles look wonderful as ballast for our railroad.

Aquarium
Perfect substrate for aquariums. Actual black pebbles, not white pebbles painted black. Used 4 bags for a 30 gallon aquarium.

I guess I missed the part of not to be used with FIRE
I searched by "pea gravel" to use in my fire pit...it wasn't until I read the warning..."not to used with fire" that I realized that this item was NOT pea gravel but some type of fake rock.
