Works well for carbonation rig.
Purchased this to connect the output of my CO2 regulator to a carbonation cap (Stainless Carbonation Cap Counter Pressure Bottle Filling With 5/16" Barb,CO2 Coupling To Carbonate Soda Beer Fruit Juice Water ). It works great for that purpose. After using it a few times, I do wish the ball lock was attached to the hose in such a way that it could swivel. That would make it easier to use as the hose always seems to want to orient the ball lock in a different direction than I want. But it's a minor gripe. Works well and as advertised.

Beverage lines too short to balance properly
I am new to kegging home brew and this is the first beverage line, tap, and disconnect I've owned. The picnic tap and the disconnect work great, but I was getting very foamy pours and my beer isn't over carbonated. Using a carbonation chart, I had my robust porter under 12psi of pressure at 47 degrees to reach a desired 2.2 volumes of co2. Upon reading up on the subject of foam, I discovered I needed to balance my system by making my serving lines longer so they could generate the appropriate back pressure with the tap open. That said, the lines that came with this setup are only 3' long. In order for a system to be balanced I'd need to serve my beer at 7psi at the current temperature, which is far too low for the volumes of co2 I want. In order to get the desired 2.2 volumes of co2 I am going for with 3' lines, I'd need to drop my serving temperature down to 36F, which is way too cold. It seems like 3' beverage lines are essentially useless for any application, then. As I look on homebrew websites I am seeing many of these sets come with at least 5' of line. I would prefer 6' for my purposes. Why would this set not come with longer lines, or at leas the option for longer lines? 3 stars for the impossibility of properly balancing a system with the included 3' lines.

Easy to clean for DIY sodastream
I used this as part of a home soda carbonation rig. The long hose is great--I can store the CO2 tank under the sink, and the hose reaches up with plenty of slack to pop it onto bottles in the sink, and shake them to dissolve the gas. The threaded disconnect on the ball lock allows me to easilly rinse the ball lock and the carbonation cap for times when I'm carbonating something other than water. I just removed the threaded fitting from the other end, and attached the hose to my regulator's barbed outlet with the included hose clamp.

Nice accessory hose
Very nice to have for testing and for taking to picnics. My wife is pregnant and so can't enjoy the beer we brew, so for her we carbonate spring water from a neighborhood artisan well and put it under 30 psi of C02. Until I modify our arrangement the water sits next to the kegerator and uses this picnic line and faucet. Because of the higher pressure I did have to reposition and re-seat the screw-driven hose clamp nearest the faucet, which has fixed a slow leak that developed. We are happy with this product.

Like It!
I am using this to force carbonate bottles of water. I am happy with the length of the hose. It allows me to work on the counter over the sink while my tank in in a lower cabinet off to the side. The quick connect works perfectly with no issue, no leaks. Highly recommended!

Touchy Thumb Trigger
Good for the price. The valve release (thumb trigger) is very touchy. It doesn't need much pressure to release a squirt of fluid from my keg. Just a slight bump and you have a mess. Wish it took a little more thumb pressure to activate it.

Good Keg Tap
As I have had problems with this supplier's products, I was cautious about this purchase but pleasantly surprised by the quality and effectiveness of this product. Yes, hose clamps extend a bit but they work. The smaller line controls the pour within reason for such a short line run. Works great and no problems.

Quality with convenience
Same quality as you'd find at most LHBS, but typically at a lower cost and with free Prime delivery instead of driving around town. Swivel connector on the ball lock is an added value.
