Dimmable High Bay LED Shop Light 100 Watt

Excellent brightness, plug and play or wired if you want to wire it in. This is my 2nd one. My first one has been in my barn for 2 years without any problems. I’m replacing all of my barn lights with these ones over time. Much better than the junk sold at farm stores/Rural King.

Installed these lights over my workbench area to provide a high level of 5000k light (near sunlight) on my projects ~ The units are sturdy, well built and it appears they could withstand some weather ~ They are BRIGHT! The light pattern is ± 120° so multiple installs do a great job of eliminating/reducing shadowing for my installation. Just unpack, screw in the aluminum hanging eyelet and hang; I used stainless steel brackets, 1/8 inch shackles and chain due to the high heat/humidity in my area ~ The units come with a standard (U.S.) three-prong plug (110v) and gray/white 10v dimmer wires ~ I plugged the lights into a joist~mounted receptacle and was in business ~ Next step is to route the 10v dimmer wires to a dimmer switch to allow varying light levels. The wiring instructions are not clear, especially for multiple~unit installations on one (1) or individual switches ~ I’d suggest they completely redo these instructions and then hire a U.S. firm to ensure the English is correct/understandable ~ This said, “two~ thumbs up” for a great light unit!

The light came securely packaged and was very easy to install. It has large cooling fins, a cord with outlet plug end and a safety chain. There is a large eyelet for hanging from a hook or chain from the ceiling. I installed the light on one side of my 40'x40' shop and found that it does a good job illuminating the area with a good footprint of light. It provides a sufficient amount of light for utility work, but one light hanging from a 16' ceiling is not bright enough for fine detail work. For that, I will continue to rely on the eight 8' LED tubes from the same manufacturer. However, for times when I do not need a great deal of light, this one UFO high bay light is more than sufficient.

Using this in my garage, after having two strip lights before. Wow this is much brighter! The light has pretty consistent coverage, no real hotspots. The unit is pretty easy to mount and the unit itself is compact compared to old high bay lights. I liked it came with a standard plug so I could just plug it in vs wiring. Housing is made out of metal and seems well made, we'll see how it holds up.

These lights {we have 15 of them} are VERY BRIGHT, Easy to install {1-4 minutes each light}, the Kelvin Rating seems dead on, construction looks Very sturdy. The remaining issue is durability, but other longer term reviews have not shown any issues.

These lights were just installed today and are mounted on a 32' high shop ceiling. The light is bright and white it is an excellent low cost replacement for the existing lighting. The five lights I bought cost less than having one of the existing lights repaired. The existing lights in this building were installed 50 years ago, what a difference. We have much better light with about 20% of the power consumption. i recommend these to anyone with a high ceiling large area needing good lighting.
