This is currently the BEST Mobile Bullet Trap option for ALL .22 & 0.17. rim-fire calibers ammo. It offers a quick, safe setup and deployment. It is made from steel for exceptional durability, and UNLIKE others it includes a ballistic rubber panel positioned in front of the steel cage that will entrap most pellets and slow down the other calibers enough to be then stopped completely by the back-plate with minimum impact, hence the reduced noise and also minimum lead dust. UNLIKE others, this trap is completely enclosed so the potential lead dust will be trapped inside instead of polluting the environment !!! Also, UNLIKE others, the armor steel back-plate can be easily removed to be replaced or upgraded to a thicker plate or just removed to access and retrieve the bullet fragments inside the collector area inside the cage. MUST be used within the general safety guidelines for bullet traps: maintain a safe distance, straight line shooting in the target area only, stable surface etc. and only used for specified caliber. Note: The life of the ballistic rubber panel will be highly dependent on the caliber and type of bullet used. The FMJ type rounds will not be as destructive to the panel's life as the FTX, HP, XTP or SP bullets. Use our adhesive targets for perfect fit, ASIN: B07KYBN5XX.

Good, but not for extended use.
Weekly, I shoot 300 to 700 standard velocity pistol rounds from a distance of 10m. The back plate in this target soon became dented and misshapen and difficult to remove for clean out. After approximately 6000 rounds, the back plate developed cracks and small holes making the target no longer safe to use. I can't recommend this target for a high volume shooter. For someone who shoots less frequently or for pellet rifles/pistols, the target would work well.Update: Customer service gets five stars. Unsolicited, the folks at Super Target Systems sent me a 9 mm back plate to try. After about 200 22. LR high-velocity rounds form 10 meters, the 9 mm back plate shows absolutely no deformation and should last a long, long time. If you're a high volume shooter, shell out the extra bucks and get the target with a more substantial back plate. https://www.amazon.com/Super-Target-Systems-Bullet-Caliber/dp/B07HWN2ZGB/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=bullet+trap&qid=1559922609&s=gateway&sr=8-5 If you shoot less frequently or from substantially greater distances, the standard .22 back plate should work just fine. The original ballistic rubber front panel has proven far more durable than I anticipated. I just replaced it after about 7000 rounds of .22. Move the bulls eye of your target around on the front panel to avoid digging a hole in one spot.

Does What It Does Well!
I was looking for a safe backstop target for my .22 pellet rifle and didn't want to built something that wouldn't stay in the backyard 7x24x365. The Super Systems Target arrived well packed in two boxes. The walled construction is solid steal with a thick rubber target area. All you need to do is place your Super Systems Target in position and pin a target to the target area. After using the Super Systems Target for several days, the rubber is holding up well and the rubber self seals after each shot. I'm sure over time or heavy use, you will need to replace the rubber target area. But that will be a long time from now.

Solid trap - better than expected
I have not used this much so I can't comment on its long-term toughness, but my impression of it out of the box and handling it is that it is solid. The steel is not flimsy, and the connections are good. There are no gaps or dents. It can be loosened and tightened or taken apart to clean. After reading all the reviews of similar products, I was about to give up on finding a trap that is not junk and not insanely expensive. And I happened to see an ad for this and saw some good feedback (not many reviews but they were consistently good). So I found it on Amazon and ordered one. I expected it to at least be "not junk" and I found it to be even better than I expected. Definitely five stars.

Great Bullet Trap
I use this trap for training - both myself and my children shoot competitively and have currently sent approx. 1.5-2K rounds into it. Ballistic rubber still seals up and very few dents in the back. I would highly recommend this trap, I've tried others but nothing compares.

Excellent quality!
Purchased this for my high powered day8and fx air rifles. I filled it with rubber mulch chips and it super quiet and top of being solid. Really not as heavy as you would expect either considering the high quality... well worth the money!

Well built and does the job
This target system is robust and built tough. It does what it is supposed to and made of HEAY GAUGE STEEL. The back plate is easily removed to remove spent lead and the front dense foam does a nice job

Excellent basement bullet trap
Purchased for .22lr rimfire practice in basement. Pad eliminates sound related to trap along with dust. Couldn't be more pleased.
