Q: Why do you use Polysorbate 80? It’s a known cancer causing agent

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I was about to reorder more of the fresh spearmint, as I love this mouthwash. But after doing some research, polysorbate 80 is linked to more than just cancer (source: PubMed). And while the point is obviously not to swallow it, we all know how easily the mouth can absorb. There are healthier alternatives available that Hello could be using, especially if they're going to use so much. I'll now be experimenting with other products.

Propylene glycol is not listed on the ingredient panel.

Q: Why does it say no artificial sweeteners when it contains 2 artificial sweeteners: xylitol and erythritol ?

Neither of those is artificial. They are derived from plants and are generally no more processed than molasses or granular sugar. It’s not “artificial” just because it’s not sugar.
