I am very happy with this system. The resolution on the cameras is excellent, and the package is very complete. It comes with a tremendous about of wire and connections to help wire up your entire house. The only drawback is that in order to watch your system on your smartphone, it takes up a lot of bandwidth. But, since it actually works on your smartphone, this is still pretty cool. The initial cost is not bad, but there is no monthly payment, so it pays for itself in just a few months. Received system as a gift after having packages stolen from front porch. Product worked well for year and a half and was very impressed. In the last six month started have problems with remote viewing. I had not check the system for a couple of weeks even though wife said it was not working properly. Last night had car broken into on drive way losing personal items, cash and credit cards. Tried to log in to check video and all cameras had loss connect and no video was recorded. The cameras are fine it is the DVR that failed. I'm disappointed that the product had problems in a relatively short period, but also at fault for not checking on the DVR regularly. My computer friend said the system can be restarted, but that the problem with the system crashing will continue. I think it is a good product but do not expect years of use.

After 6 mos the video and pictures are purple. ALM Audio Visual did nothing to help resolve the problem

I am still trying to learn exactly how to use this security system, but it seems to work very well at this point. Just set it up with a wireless adapter so that I can place the control box out of sight. Will make for a more secure installation.

This is a great unit. I haven't used it much to go back and look at previously recorded video, but I love the ability to remotely "check in" and see what's happening. Wonderful!

Works great, Software is very capable.

So far I am happy with this purchase, I would recommend getting higher quality RG59 Siamese cables to get best quality performance from the camera's. I would have rated 5 if they had furnished better cables to begin with.
