Perfect Purple Colorant For Soaps-Do not gel
Perfect shade of purple for use in handmade CP soaps performs well. Color does morph if gelled. Mixture of 1 tsp. of mica with 1 TBS of oil for color soap used 1 tsp. per pound of oils. 1 tsp of mica with 1 TBS of vegetable glycerin to drizzle on top of soap for a very shimmery color. Included photo of soap I did not gel. The one in the mold I did gel, & added mica with glycerin on top. As you'll see the purple color in the soap morphed.

Defected batch of mica
I really feel disappointed with this purple micaI been buying all my Mica's fromWholesale supplies plus but i had realized i needed to find a new supplier for purple mica because it just isn't dark enough so I figure i would try Slice of the Moon Magic purple MicaI swear it's like the same Mica from WSP its no different but the price... Im not sure whats really going on but maybe i recieved a defected batch or something..Your company also advertises with a sticker on the jar statingA LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. Well not in my jar the jar i recieved was not good. The recipe i used was 1cup baking soda and 1cup citric acid and i had to use half the jar to get a true purple color for making bath bomb embeds when in all actuality i should be literally only be using a 1/4 teaspoon or 2.I spend a lot of money on Mica's for my bath products and such and would really like to continue with your company if you can make this right for me Please

Good quality
Its a pretty purple mica, however, you have to use quite a bit in cold process soap to achieve a true purple color. It seems to have a muddy brown-purple color if you don't add a lot!

My cousin and I used this to make bath bombs. You have to use quite a bit to get the color to show up for the bath bomb but I already knew this, so it doesn't bother me.

this color was fine (just a little lighter then expected)
When making bath salts...this color was fine (just a little lighter then expected). BUT when i made Bath Bombs the color was SO LIGHT...almost a Lavender color!!
