Doh! I wish I read the prod desc properly!
My mistake for not reading properly. I was after a totally natural toothbrush (including bristles). Bristles are nylon. I will use it so doesn’t go to waste and will endeavour to find an environmentally friendly product in the future.

Totally Teethriffic!
These are great! Soft but effective bristles & the Bamboo is robust enough for a good ol' brushing..I'm not a fan of most dentists with their indiscriminate use of poisons (mercury & fluoride, to name but two) so I use these in combination with #Myrrh, #Sage & #Echinacea tincture mouth washes & #AloeDent Fluoride-free toothpaste to keep it all "pure" & these bamboo tooth brushes are a welcome #BPA plastic-free addition to this'.I paid £11.74 for 10, so fantabulous value at less than £1.20 a toothbrush. #HighlyRecommended

headline description is misleading
The headline description indicates "Organic Biodegradable Bamboo Charcoal Toothbrush" which implies that the bristle might be the charcoal (since they are unexpectadly black). At first glance it appears100% biodegradable, but actually nothing here is charcoal. That word seems inserted to deceive.

A good switch!
My first time using a bamboo toothbrush, but I have to say I am impressed. The packaging was small and neat, and each toothbrush came in its own cute little box. 6 adult and 4 child size. The children's ones have little teddy pictures on the end of the box. Each toothbrush has a clearly marked letter near the brush head to identify who has what brush. Although a few bristles became dislodged when i first used it, the bristles are a little softer than my previous brush. My teeth still felt cleaned and smooth when used. Only 2 other adults in my household but these seem to have gone down well with them too!

Not half bad
I bought these after realising that every plastic toothbrush I’ve ever used still exists in a pile somewhere, i thought these would be better so here we are. Only used one so far, initially I found myself spitting out bristles whenever I used it but that seems to have stopped now. Happy with it but marked it down for the spitting and throat tickling at the start.

Great product
The best bamboo toothbrush I had so far. Tried a few brands but this is the winner. The bristles thin out towards the end so the brush gets between the teeth giving a better clean. I missed this Zig-Zag effect with other brands. Great value for money!

Watch out for loose bits of wood
Mostly happy with this product. The brushes are very soft. Only problem I’ve had was a bit of the wood flaked up on one brush enough to cut my lip when brushing. So I’ve been a bit more careful for checking for loose bits and making sure the handle is smooth before brushing.I’d be wary about using them with young children for that reason.

Really good!
Having been my third purchase of bamboo brushes, I took a try with these as they were the best value for a pack of ten, as of currently on amazon.I’m already on my third brush and all I have to say is that they are indeed quite good.1] The head size is similar to that of a typical adult toothbrush, if anything only slightly longer but because I personally used small toothbrush heads before, using these at first did slightly hurt my gums but after a couple brushes they soften up quickly and the size actually helps in brushing a larger area of the teeth.2] What I found interesting about them is that, these bristles are sharper from all the brushes I had before and therefore, helps in getting along the nooks and crannies but this would mean they will feel kinda pointy at first use but eventually will get used to it.3] The bristle also doesn’t fall off easily whist brushing despite nearing their change time, which was something I found with my previous brushes.[Brushes changes recommend by dentist are every 3 months but this can vary according to person and their usage.]4] The handle is something I preferred from my previous brush however, it still grips well and is quite strong.[Tip: is to always make you air-dry your bamboo brushes and making sure to throw the water that collects inside the brush holders as these will cause the ends of your handle to become discoloured.] Saying that here just in case :)Overall, I am quite satisfied with the product. I may seek out to try bamboo brushes from other companies but these so far do work well and would say is a worth it product.
