OneTigris Highlander Hammock Top Quilt, Goose Down, 14°F, 1.8Ib

This quilt is fantastic. I have used it to about 20 degrees Fahrenheit and was perfectly warm. I really like the colors, it is easy to see what is happening inside the tent. I much prefer to use this rather then a sleeping bag. The only thing I wish it had was attachment points for straps, but the winged design helps with the drafts. Really great product.

Would have given 5 stars, but ad is misleading/wrong. Ad says 14°F quilt, but label on quilt says C°, and EN rating (a plus) of Comfort- 5°C,Limit-0°C, and Extreme- -5°C. Now, knowing the limit is really 32°, this quilt is fantastic. It is lightweght, well-made, and warm! I slept out with an insulated Big Agnes air core under me, this on top, and slept warm and comfortable in temps of 30°-33° on a night to test the EN limit. It works. That's all I can say. I believe it will be a great 3 season quilt!

I had high hopes for this top quilt but nope. The loft is sub par. There are spots where you can see straight through the fabric regardless on how many times i try to spead the down.

This review is primarily my first impressions only. I have not had time to test in field yet. That being said, I was a little disappointed in the overall loft of the quilt. After further inspection I discovered that not all of the quilts columns are filled equally. Some columns seamed to be stuffed pretty tightly, while others have nearly none. I am really questioning the manufacturers temperature ratings of this quilt. The fabric the quilt is made out of feels light and soft. The quilt is very light and although I have not tried to compress this quilt in the compression sack I am confident it will pack down quite small. Also I do like the compression sack it comes with. It's seams very light and well made. I am very excited to try this thing out, but worried I'm doing too freeze in the brisk Utah fall temperatures of the high country.After further testing. DO NOT USE THIS BAG FOR WINTER CAMPING!!! I used this bag for a overnight trip in Utah were the temps got down into the low 20 or high teens. My setup consisted of this top quilt an eno ember 2 underquilt and two (yes 2 ) costco down throws. Also was wearing a Columbia puffer. I shivered the whole night through. If I could I would return this bag but unfortunately the deadline for return has passed. I would only recommend using this bag for warmer summer nights.

I love the quality of the material and stitching but be advised it is a sewn through quilt so it won’t take temperatures as low as a baffled quilt with the same fill.
