Dealmed Sterile Gauze Pads, Individually Wrapped Absorbent 4 x 4 12 Ply Cotton, 100/Box by dealmed

These 4×4" surgical pads are perfect for wound care & cleaning wounds. Bought these to help clean my dog's surgical incision. They are sterile gauze pads, soft & not scratchy. These are also great to add to my first aid kits that I have around the house. Professional grade & well worth the money.

I am currently using these 4" X 4" Gauze pads. I like them the best for what I use them for. I have tried several other type. Please note that there is 100 ea of these pads in each very thin walled About 6" cubed box. I used the Pad box to hold the first boxs of Gauge pads on as shelf in the bathroom and which tooked over a Year to use. That box looks rather tattered. Along with these pads, I also orded a tube like container of tea and another item. These were all place in a Cardboard shipping box, about 6" X 8" X 12". " WITH OUT ANY PADDING". When I opened the shipping box, I found a 6" cubed thin walled box blown out, and 100 ea 4" X 4" scattered all over the inside the shipping box (note the shipping box was not damaged). This was one time, I would have liked own a smart phone or Table. I would have enjoyed sharing a picture of the inside of the box. It was a rather funny a sight to see. I really don't know, how I will store the pads for ready use, over the next year. I am thinking about returning them, but I am running out and don't know if the next ones will come intack I would have to say I am not a big fan of shipping without padding. When I find something I like, that I will use from time to time, I will usually by in larger quanities to save money and time. I have notice that several shipment I have received lately from Amazon, the inside boxes were rounded from hammering around inside the shipping box and will not stack neatly (even wobble), so they will not stack as high on storage shelves.

Do not buy these pads!! They are not what they claim to be. I bought these from Amazon because I couldn’t make it to the store and was almost out. These are supposed to be the same. I double checked to make sure that they were but as you can see they are nothing alike. I would never had bought them. If I could I’d rate them a big fat zero.

The order came overnight. But the gauze is very thin. I had to put 2 drops of iodine on it and it leaked through.

The gauze pads are very thin but adequate for my needs.
