Door Knob Cover

Single use item but stays in place and secure for a long time. We have these covering all external leading doors to protect my children. The extra twist cap on the end makes them last longer than other designs/brands. People who are unfamiliar or older with osteoporosis have a hard time with these covers. So when grandparents visit we help them outside. Downside is that these are single use. Once they are on a door they stay for a long time. But if you want to take them off (say for a party) they break apart during removal and cannot be reused. So thankful they come in a multipack and with quick delivery. I took a pack of these on vacation with me to help protect my toddler from getting outside of a cabin. They were easy to use and remove when the vacation was over.

Bought a different brand and the safety knobs were horrible. My two year-old figured out how to open the door in less than three seconds. Bought these and now my child is three and still can’t open the door.

The work, very well. A little too well. These are bigger than most door knob covers and I have smaller hands so the grip takes a little bit to get right. Not so much that I look like I struggle with it, but just enough that I have to think about what I'm doing. I love the spinning front plate because it makes it so easy to install. Not that I intend to move them to other doors, but removing them will be a breeze as opposed to prying the other kinds off with a screwdriver.

A couple of the doors in our home have slighlty oversized knobs, and these fit well over them. Install was easy, and they work just like any other covering of similar style. BUT I do NOT recommend purchasing due to the following The cardboard packaging had already been ripped open, this arrived sealed in a plastic bag with the pieces and already opened package (photos attached). 2 of the pieces that snap around the knob were broken, they had obviously been put together and ripped apart by someone else. After covering one doorknob, throwing away the broken set, then covering the other doorknob, I realized there were only 3 of the knob covering pieces left. So this pack was also incomplete.

We needed these because our 3yo realized she could leverage her weight on the traditional ones and pop them off. We're not ready to give her free access to the other bedrooms in the house, so we got these as a solution. They work well, and so far she hasn't figured out how to turn the front piece. However, I can't figure out how to get them off. I tried to move one from one door handle to another but I couldn't get the two cover pieces apart, once the front twist-on piece was off. The plastic is inflexible, unlike most of these types of handle covers, and I ended up breaking one to get it off - the slots that hold the tabs on the other piece ended up snapping. There are no instructions for removal included, and I assumed it would be like the others where you can squeeze them apart, but it doesn't work. This product does what we need it to, but is really inconvenient if you need to be able to easily remove them for any reason without damaging the product. Looks like they'll be on until we're 100% sure we don't need them anymore.

Great for our church nursery! It has been a successful childproofing with no escapees!! Lol!! It fits great on the doorknobs and I love that it stays on because of the screw knob design!

This is a great product! Make sure you don’t click them on backwards. Even if you do they still work. Copied this from another review: I popped one on a random knob just to try it. I decided I didn't want it there and I nearly killed myself trying to get it off. I never even put the screw part on, just trying to pry apart the 2 halves was nearly impossible. I tried coax it a few different ways, but finally I just had to go full strength and pull. I pulled so hard it broke a little plastic on the connecting pieces, but it still works. So ignore the negative reviews, these suckers work, maybe a little too well. Oh and be certain of where you want them before you snap them together. You will have a hell of time getting them open.

These are great and fit larger/different shaped doorknobs! My only complaint is that they are hard to get off even once you've unscrewed the front. I've broken the inner clips every time I try to take them off. That being said they still work even with the broken clips.
