Upgraded version from old one. Five star car stereo from America used this and tested it with fluke and smd distortion equipment. This gave accurate reading on oscilloscope wave form. For the money I can't complain good price. Very excellent from supplier factory sealed packaging. The screen is bright and bigger then I thought.It worked perfectly on car stereo RCA output voltage test got clean sine wave got prefect input signal in to amplifier.But struggled to get big sine wave on amp power test, it did show overload it couldn't handle anything over about 35volts. Wave format only.Still got sine wave but tiny not expanded enough properly to adjust.For me it doesn't matter rule of thumb make sure your sub amp have same power or amp little extra. Peak and rms suitable.Set amp halfway and use remote control gain control knob until your bass sound satisfies and in sync with car speakers.Still get high normal voltage readings.I ain't paying 300 or 1000 for top oscilloscope.If you pay a audio specialist they will test for you. Couple of quidStill not complaining. Got clean input signal into amp and go to full volume with no distortion.

Info for others: It takes AA batteriesThe readings appear to be fairly accurate, the Oscilloscope functionality is working fine. Clear display, instructions are ok. Cannot complain about it at all so far.

bought this because I needed a new multimeter, and though cool - an oscilloscope too. trouble is the display is such low resolution it can only really serve to give a rough idea of the waveform. The kkmoon oscilloscope kit has way more resolution at less than half the price and has a full-colour screen. will keep it as an overpriced multimeter, but if you need a good oscilloscope - look elsewhere!

I am in the car industry as a mechanic/technician and 20 years ago I purchased a Snap-on fluke meter which cost me £600. Great at what it does but unable to show wave forms. The display on the LM2001 in waveform is small but you can see exactly what you need in a small time frame. I needed to monitor `PWM` (Pulse width modulation) on a problem car and it showed me exactly the signal I wanted to see, or not see as it turned out. This cost me £70 !! Oh and buy the way the Snap-on fluke meter was only guaranteed for a year being an electrical tool. Fantastic multi-meter for the price. Highly recommend.

Nice product for indicative measurements but not sure how precise the unit is.

my old Fluke died but as I'm really only a hobbies these days i just wanted something small and easy to use. the oscilloscope part of the meter was an extra. So far I've been impressed by it. I compared the scope and other measurements with some work equipment and i was very happy. I'm not overly impressed with the battery box but at that price i can't complain.
