Absolutely amazing. I have my life back from itchy hives!
Edited: November 6th, 2014 -- I replied to a comment today, so thought I would give quick update on how Daosin is working for me.I still love this stuff!! I take it every day still and probably will until they figure out a way to fix the histamine intolerance permanently. As I stated in original review I use a lot, I still do, but it works for me and I am worth it. My sanity is worth it. It does not work on food allergies, it works on histamine intolerance.I'll state again, the best advice I can give is to check with your doctor first. They may not narrow it down immediately, but they can eliminate some things. I got lucky in that my doctor has the same problem and she told me to try this. I wouldn't have if she hadn't told me to.-------------------------Love this stuff! As I've gotten older, I've found that foods I have eaten all my life, are now causing problems. My problems were hives. Chocolate, tomatoes, bananas, peanut butter, hot dogs, parmesan cheese, and so much more. I didn't know what the heck was going on. I knew I had latex allergies, but these new problems had me stymied. I was at the doctor for an unrelated problem, and casually asked could I now be allergic to certain foods, because I had done some home testing because of hives I started getting. My doctor recommended Daosin to try, it was something she herself took for the same problem. Told me to read up on histomine intolerance. She takes 3 before bedtime, and it works for her. I tried that, didn't have great result. So, I tried per instructions on bottle. A little better, but still had problems. So I tested. For me, I have found taking 1 in the morning when I wake up, and then 1-2 each meal, depending on what I am eating (if tomato based- I always take 2), sometimes nothing. It's not cheap, but for me it is absolutely worth every penny. I got hives on a daily basis. I am ecstatic to say I have been hive free for 3 months now. It took me about a solid week and half to notice any difference. This seems to be a good balance for me. And if I want a Mountain Dew or to eat a handful of peanuts, or maybe grab a tomato just picked off the vine to snack on, I take an extra pill (they are actually capsules) and I am good to go. Absolutely, being able to eat the foods I want to is awesome. But I can do that by taking Benedryl (dye-free). The greatest difference is, with Daosin, I don't go to sleep. One Benedryl knocks me out. I am thrilled my doctor told me about Daosin, I just wish I had asked sooner, could have saved myself a couple of years of misery. As I said, it's not cheap, I go through anywhere between 2-3 bottles a month. But I am worth it and my sanity is worth it. No more hives, no more wanting to skin myself with my fingernails because of the itching. Amazing. I'll be honest, no way would I have even tried this if my Doctor hadn't recommended as well as told me she herself took it. Natural or not, I am biggest weanie when it comes to taking medicines, especially if I've never heard of it before. ;-) Talk to your doctor, get their advice. That's my tip before you try anything.

Slightly less symptons but not quite my solution.
About 3 months ago I had thorough allergy tests done: blood and skin prick, for over 300 different allergens including the most popular, gluten, milk (dairy), peanuts, etc. All came out normal. The Doctor prescribed Zyrtec, of which I have been taking now for nearly 2 months on an as needed basis (about every 4 - 7 days). I researched my symptoms and being that Zyrtec helps alleviate my symptoms, severe itchyness all over and some slight burning sensations, I believe I have Histamine Intolerance (HIT). It got really bad one day I ate Bologna which is considered a "high histamine" producer. Anyway, I have been taking Vitamin C complex 2000mg (Vitaminshoppe), Vitamin B-6 (Solgar) & Copper (Multi-Vitamin w/ 2mg), which supposedly helps boost Diamine Oxydase production -the main enzyme that breaks down Histamine- but its not working fast enough. I bought a bottle of DAOSin about 2 weeks ago and have been taking it too. I have felt diminished symptoms, but not enough to be tolerable and still find myself having to take a Zyrtec when it gets unbearable. I recently read about taking Black Seed Oil (Nigella Sativa) & Quercetin which I recommend you research. Black Seed Oil includes a natural anti-histamine and many other incredible benefits. Quercetin also prevents certain histamine(s) from producing and helps boost enzyme production, maybe DAO?, so I am trying this too. My symptoms, other than severe itchyness, burning sensation in my feet (mostly), and slight indigestion are transparent, meaning not physically noticeable. I can't say that DAOSin has been my "cure" but I also feel I can't say it's working, so I am just relaying information and you decide. I don't think I'll continue to buy it if after a month if I still have to take Zyrtec when I get a reaction. To everyone I encourage, do your research and try the natural way as best you can.

Nice product for histamine intolerance, but spendy
I feel 'inflamed' pretty much all the time and have terrible brain fog. I've been tested for allergies and try to reduce those things but still have problems. So, I knew something else must be going on. I was researching brain fog and stumbled across information regarding histamine intolerance. These DAO pills seem to help me, but they are spendy if you take them with every meal. So, I decided to try something else. I found for me I can mask the symptoms by using the right antihistamine. Most make me drowsy and don't work for me as a result. But I have had good luck with generic over the counter Fexofenadine. I have decided instead of using DAO... to save money, I'll just use Fexofenadine. That antihistamine doesn't make me drowsy and solves my brain fog problem. I take them in the morning as they can amp me up a bit. I get 120 tablets (1 a day) for around $35. So, this is a very cheap work around compared to DAO. This work around may not work for all of you, but it does work for me so I thought I'd share it with you in case it helps at least a few of you.So, in my opinion is that this DAO is a good product and will help many of you with histamine intolerance as it did me. But, if you don't feel that you can afford these pills long term, you could try playing around with Fexofenadine to see if that helps you as well. Good luck with your journey to good health and feeling better!

Waste of money
I was very much looking forward to trying this, but after a few tries, I decided it was having no effect on me. I've heard that you have to take several capsules at a time, which would make it much too expensive. The best way to deal with histamine intolerance is just to eat a nutrient-dense diet, avoiding or minimizing your worst histamine triggers until your gut heals and you develop a greater tolerance for histamine-rich foods.
