Does not charge laptop and makes a strange whining noise (used on Dell Latitude E6400 Laptop)
I bought this charger for my Dell Latitude E6400 laptop just a week ago because my original charger is fraying at the brick. When I first plugged it in I noticed that the charging brick was making an unusual whining noise. I felt it was strange but thought I would just ignore it as long as the charger worked. After a day or two I noticed that the charger was not actually charging my device unless I twisted it around. This is a problem that my original charger does not have despite the fact that it has frayed heavily. It is also really hard to find the right position to get this product to actually charge my laptop (even though it seems to fit snugly into my laptop charging port).Needless to say I'm returning this unit because it does not work.

Horrible charger do not waste your money on it.
Do not buy this charger. I had to return it as it overheats and made a buzzing sound when i was charging my laptop that stated it was capable with. its cheaply made and not good i recommend a power+ charger they are way better cost a little more but worth it.

AC adapter for Dell Laptop
The charger worked as needed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality charger. The seller really stands behind thier products - they provided feedback and comments to all our pre and post sale questions. The charger was delivered on time and without problems. You sure can't beat the price. The next time we need a laptop charger, we will definitely research this product and seller for our next purchase!

I received a defective product.
When plugged in to the power socket, the LED is on. My Dell notebook was unable to detect the charger when I booted it several times with the charger connected. I have concluded that the shipment I received was defective although I am considering the possibility of other shipments being functional. I would recommend it for those who are curious. 😋

Failed in a short time
We bought 3 of these; 2 in August, 2013 and 1 in November, 2013 (2 different Amazon vendors). All 3 have failed - one after about 3 months, one after about 6 weeks, the last one after about 3 weeks of use (the latter was part of a Christmas present, so it was used shorlty after purchase and not again until Christmas, 2013).I've not tried to return them to the vendors; at $10, they're disposable (though I won't buy them again).
