Rome Industries 2011 Creative Pie Iron Cooking by Richard O'Russia

I gave it as a gift to a friend. She loves it.

I think it's a pretty good pie iron cookbook. It's got some recipes in it I wouldn't have thought of, such as lasagna, enchiladas, pesto bread pudding and more. This isn't a huge cookbook-it's only 64 pages, but it will give you good information on caring for and using your pie iron and the recipes will give you a good start cooking with a pie iron, and lead to even more ideas. I have never been camping, and most likely never will; I use my pie irons-note the plural on my gas stove, and once in a while out on the Weber.

I can't wait to give the new ideas in this book a try. I have used my irons for pies, but not much else.

Had a lot of fun trying the recipes over the gas cooktop before going camping!

Some good information, but priced too high for this pamphlet book.

Pie iron/pudgie pies are flash-backs to when I was a GS leader and five of my own daughters. They still love them and we had a great party using this book as a guide.

I'm looking forward to camping season to try the recipes.
