Davina Steel - Pizza Base Baking Flour Mix Gluten Free & Coeliac Friendly (Yeast Included, 3-Pack)

It’s a great option for those who can’t have the proper pizza. Instructions are easy to follow but it took me two attempts to master the perfect pizza. Would recommend a bit more olive oil to add crispiness.

This mix is ok, not very pizza like. It’s mixed up into a batter and when cooked it is more like a pancake in taste and texture. Not at all bread like. If you’re looking at this you’re probably gluten intolerant etc. and as such it’s a fix to a limited solution problem but not brilliant.

Been searching for a replacement for a while have a great pizza oven in garden but wife cant have gluten. Not been used as much as I wanted. Tried this yesterday tasty crisp chewy just like gluten base . Great product would recommend

Having followed the instructions to the letter the pizza base was inedible.Tried again and had the same experience. Threw the remainig two packets away. An expensive exercise.

I started using this brand when it was Mannavita through Ocado. The focaccia mix was so lovely I was convinced they could do a pizza one too but none was on offer and they then disappeared from Ocado altogether. They've since rebranded as Davina Steel and the pizza mix is as good as I expected. Very simple to make and not even a lot of mess after. I made one to have there and then and put two bases in the freezer. I grilled the one I had with peppers, mushrooms and pineapple and Violife cheese so it was dairy-free too. It was moist in the middle but not at all soggy, unlike wheat pizzas, and crusty on the edges but not hard, again unlike wheat pizzas. The overall taste was great, even though I did not add salt to the mix (there's none in it though they say you can add some). You can also add herbs to it to make it even better but I don't think it needs it. It stands more than well enough on its own. I honestly think these are better than the wheat ones I used to have. Can't wait to try the other mixes. I applaud and thank Davina!

Oh my gosh this is what I’ve been waiting for! So quick and easy and perfect pizza dough/garlic dough balls every time, have now ordered the scone/bread mixes as well, great quality product and value for money. Very happy customer 😄
