Lane Home Furnishings 7328-40 Barrel Table

Purchased this for our office. It was a little challenging to assemble but after doing so it compliments our chairs nicely.

This piece is perfect for my space and very sturdy. It came just as described. Was a little difficult to put together as the very last screw would not go in. I had to loosen a few other screw around it, tighten the screw that wouldn’t go in and then tighten the ones that I had loosened. Then it went together perfectly! Love it in my space!

First off- suck it husband! I didn't even need your help. So what if I had to redo about a third of it because I am incapable of comparing a picture to real life and double-checking before doing the entire center level of screws. Just an extra 20 minutes of my life that I'll never get back, no biggie.This is a really heavy-duty and beautiful piece of furniture. There are no actual written steps, only pictures. BUT there is only ONE size of screw for the entire thing, and the only tool you need is included. Careful not to lose any screws though because there were no extras. I didn't lose any, so again- take one husband! I got it. Careful lest you become a nonessential worker in this household. ;-)

A bit tricky to put together by yourself because of the metal bracing which must be attached to both the top and bottom of the table. The screws are inpressed standard Allen wrench screws. Fortunately I have a bit which I could use with my cordless screwdriver. As such, putting it together was a easy with my wife holding the bracing in place. For one person to put this together, even with the proper cordless screwdriver but, I could see being difficult. The completed table itself is quite nice. Good weight and sturdy and stable. Highly recommend but just have patience putting together, it will be worth the effort.

This table exceeded all expectations. Plus it was way cheaper than buying it at the big box stores.

Overall, it's a great piece. Looks just as expected ... very sturdy and durable ... exactly what I was hoping for! But I would be remiss not to mention that it was quite difficult to put together. While the directions are straightforward and there's only 4 steps, the problem I encountered was that the holes were slightly out of alignment with where the screws were supposed to go. While one could assume it was just a fluke on this particular one, my guess is it's a common problem because of the curved nature of the design. Subsequently, I had to really wrench the metal pieces and even slightly bend them to get the screws in. I was successful and now that it's put together, I don't think it'll every come apart, but maybe not every buyer will have the strength or patience. For me, I'm still glad I bought it and it was worth the frustrations, but potential customers should know you may be in for quite the wrestle match during assembly.

Love this table! It perfect to fit the small space next to my chair. It is sturdy and assembled quite easily. Make sure you follow the assembly directions, which is only 4 pics. It actually could use more words, but you just need to be careful and get the braces in the proper orientation. If you do, the fit is perfect and no bending or forcing is required. Love the finished product.

I bought two for my living room and it has that modern rustic look. They come up to the arm height of my recliner and sofa (24 inches high). The surface is large enough to hold a drinking glass, remote, phone and a few other items. I would not say it could hold a lamp unless that is all you want on it. Its sturdy my granddaughter thinks it a place for her to sit and it has not tipped over. It only takes few minutes to put together. Easy to clean.
