Upgraded to 3.6Ah 14.4V Replacement for XRP Ni-Mh Battery DC9091 DW9091 DW9094 DE9091 DE9092 Cordless Power Tools

This battery seems to have more power and may last a bit longer. My Drill sounds stronger with higher RPM. Unfortunately, this makes the assembly a bit too big to fit in the OEM DeWalt carrying/storage case. It does not fit properly in the slot for the extra battery either. Trying to see if I can make a modification to the case to make it fit.

The battery charge doesn't last long, but you have to consider the price. I don't know what the difference is between the batteries in the OEM vs. this, but the OEM battery pack weighs 878 grams and this after market battery pack weighs 627 grams. I was drilling 48 half inch diameter holes through 1.5" of a very light weight material and the charge didn't make it.

I got this battery as a replacement for a DW9094 Dewalt battery that went bad after 15 years. Charged up quickly and works great as a replacement for a much more expensive OEM Dewault battery replacement. Plenty of power and long-lasting. Very happy with purchase!

This is a knock off battery. No surprise there. It fits, after charging it does power the drill. However with the battery the drill driver has very little torque and only has a couple minutes of work time. Enough juice to drill a couple holes in pine-wood or dry wall. It is not up to the tasks you are used to. The battery does not hold a charge more than a couple of days.Don't waste your money on this knock off. it weighs in at 3/4 of the Dewalt battery.I like keeping stuff forever, but unless you can get the real dewalt battery and your drill driver power head is in good shape you are better off buying new. I still have my 14.4 v drill with one good dewalt battery. For a big project I just bought a 20v Dewalt with the 5 a-h battery. It worked all day driving 3" deck screws with no recharge.Buy a new drill instead of this battery

I really can't say what the "longevity" and "battery life" will be. I have used my Dewalt drill only twice since I bought the backup battery. So far so good. The only reason I gave the overall rating 4 out of 5 stars is that the replacement battery is slightly wider than the original Dewalt battery and the drill case doesn't close as snugly as it used to.

These are not as good as the Original batteries but come in a close second. Since my drill is over 20 years old now I am glad to find a battery that fits, works and lets me get more use out of my favorite drill.

The battery works fine when it has a fresh charge. It does not hold a charge for very long for projects, just long enough to get 2nd battery recharged. It was a waste and I should have just bought the Dewalt battery.

Did not meet voltage nor amperage specifications . Returned.
