100 Hits: The Best Country Album

I haven't got through the first CD yet but so far it is very good. A lot of classics I grew up listening to on the radio.. I am not a country music fan usually, but there are some really great classics that are so nice to hear again. I also bought one for my Mom, gonna give it to her for her birthday. She will enjoy the oldies too.Excellent price for the all of the songs you get!

Such a deal for this cd! This has alot of good music on it and it was really fun listening to it on a trip!

a good collection. number 3 disc with willy nelson, jonny cash, janis joplin and big bad john is the best. all cd's of this type should list the songs. they don't. why? amazon should list them so WE know what we are buying. what the heck, amazon?

My score is really 4.5. Great sound, original artists. Be aware the songs cover a range in time from 1968 to 2017, so everyone will find songs they like and others they don't care for. There were enough I liked to make it worth the price. I like to play it as background music while working on home projects.

When you order a "greatest oldies" disk like this you wonder if you will get the originals and whether the sound will be listenable. The answer is yes on both counts for this product. It is good value and arrived as promised, so what else could you want?

Nice nostalgic CDs. Package is not user friendly for arthritic hands, but the music is very enjoyable if you like country. These were great songs from my growing up years.

Have listened to these discs over and over. LOVE that there are songs I have enjoyed but haven't heard in years. So many of the old favorites and others that are newer. Doesn't have the early country but latter country is well represented. For the price, this collection is a GREAT choice.

I bought this collection twice - once for myself and once for a friend who was getting into country music and kept wanting to borrow it. I paid about $10-15 CDN, including taxes and shipping - so about 15 cents per song. You can't go wrong. Many of the songs here are found on other country hit compilations, but this may be the cheapest set.It's a perfect set for anyone starting a country collection. It's also perfect for someone who's not a big country fan and testing the waters. Most of these songs, from the 1950's through the 90's are crossover hits, and HUGE hits. Only some feel "very country" - and if you grew up on a.m. radio, songs like "Ring of Fire", "Rose Garden", "On the Road Again", etc. all played alongside the rock and pop of the day. As well, the majority of songs have remained popular since their release and are regarded as classics. Only a few songs are trendy and sound dated.This is also a great collection for musicians and song writers, for whom there is a lot to learn from in this collection. Most songs were played by the A-Team of session musicians in Nashville, and the song writing is mostly first rate and concise (within 3.5 minutes). Highly recommended.

Yes there are repeat artists, but still good tunes- so you get 100 good quality songs and about 15 repeat artists. Not bad really! There are always gems in the series.. which I particularly enjoy. Production quality makes these cuts very enjoyable and great value for the money.
