OTTERBOX DEFENDER SERIES Samsung Galaxy S5 Case - Retail Packaging Protective Case for Galaxy S5 - Ap Pink (White/Gunmetal Grey Ap Pink)

I got this Otter Box case just over a year ago. As you can see, it gets VERY little use. While getting ready to head to town recently, I went to snap the stand in and part of it went flying across the room. I still have not found the missing piece yet.So while I have been more than pleased with my Otter Box for just over a year, it's sad that it would break like this with again, such little and light use. Not the quality I expect for something that costs what this does.

After the struggle to get it on my phone, I think I like this OtterBox Defender case pretty well. I definitely think my phone will be protected from drops. The extra size actually makes it much easier to hold onto my phone. I like the built-in screen protection and it is much more sensitive than the last screen protector I got. The case is very snug too, so I'm hoping that my phone will stop thinking that the back cover is coming off.A couple of reasons why this is a 4 instead of 5 though. One is that the plastic case did not come together quite right. I pressed and pressed but it would not click entirely together. This is minor since it has the additional she'll on the outside which holds it all together very securely. The other thing is that this is sold as dust proof but it doesn't enclose the phone entirely. There is an opening for the home button and I am guessing dust and dirt will find its way to my screen through it. There are also openings at the microphones and ports, but the headphone jack hole has a rubber cover. It seems like it should have been fairly straightforward to give this a 100% seal.Overall, for the price I paid for this one (<$20) I feel good about it and would do it again.

I do not like the thickness of the clear cover. It makes one have to tap harder than I'd like.

In the far past, I have been pretty rough on phones and presently my husband has gone through 3 serious breakings of his phone from dropping it (in his defense, he's a truck driver and his phone has taken a couple of long falls from the cab to the ground....and he's clumsy..haha). We have had urban armour cases but decided we needed something a little more heavy duty to protect his phone from him and to protect my phone from baby slobber and massage oil (I'm a massage therapist). it has a nice, plastic inner casing with a screen protector and a rubber outer casing. It seems to absorb shock and any fluids are wiped away easily. The only complaint would be that it bulks the phone just enough so that I can't plug in a card swiper to take payment from clients but I am willing and happy to through a couple of extra steps to have that protection

I used my old otter cover for two years and decided it was time to get a new one after realizing there were a lot scratches on the front that made it hard to see my phone clearly. This old cover saved my phone (and ultimately me money!) after dropping it numerous times from some pretty high heights.This one arrived promptly, fit my phone perfectly and snuggly and off I went a happy camper. And a bonus was seeing the phone phone looked in perfect/new condition after taking it out of the old otter cover!

I like the design, stylish and elegant. I got the pink background with tree branches. I was afraid that it might make my galaxy s5 look and feel more balky, but it didn't. My kids have dropped the phone a few times and it was intact. All the ports are accessible without any problem. It is a bit tight when I tried to put it on but once everything is in place, it is a snug fit. I have used other cheap protection for my s3 but I feel that the s5 needed extra protection because the sides can be easily dented and it seems to shatter easily when landing on the corner if dropped (from reviews that I read). Overall, this is money well spent.

Was looking for replacement for my cracked old Otterbox and this one was on sale.

Got my case today as promised, but unfortunately doesn't fit my S5 Neo phone. So disappointed because it's the case I've been wanting and it has so much more protection to offer than my previous cover. I will probably send it back. Edit: I got help from my son with the case and it's now working properly for my S5 Neo cell. I am happy I didn't have to return it cause I really do love the graphics on it. It fits snugly and perfectly now

This particular case I received seemed more plastic-y than most defender cases I've used although the Quality was still up to otterbox standards. I really enjoyed this case until I lost my phone....

Fantatic box. It was a little tight to separate so i could put the phone in but other than great value for a great price
