Great value, compact & effective!
Product is pretty straightforward to set up. The photos are from my first attempt using it and are edited version of multiple shots stacked. If you wear glasses, take them off when you do your polar alignment. Still figuring out when to adjust the spring tension but should be easy enough with a couple of test shots. Exceptionally pleased with the results I got from this ultra compact little tracker. No batteries or computers or heavy weight gear was awesome and this would be your best bet for tracked shots on locations that require hiking to. 10/10 would recommend!

Great tracker for the price that produces some amazing results
I've been wanting to get an astro tracker to use with my Canon 6D for years, but haven't been able to afford paying $400 or more for one. A friend recommended this one to me and so far I've been amazed at how well it works for the price. I've only shot 17-30mm tracked Milky Way shots with it, but the results are awesome. It's basically a wind-up clock motor, but humans have had milleniums to perfect this technology and it does the job quite well. Very simple to set up, roughly align with Polaris (the north star) and then shoot away without breaking the bank.

Bang for your buck
I must say, I was a little skeptical using a wind up clock drive for astrophotography. This nifty device can produce good results. I use a Olympus MFT with a vintage Olympus 135mm f/2.8 (270mm crop factor) and can get up to a 60 second exposure. The Pleiades photo is a single 60 second exposure. I can safely get a 30 second exposure with the setup.I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that the documentation is poor and the springy thingy is confusing. There are some tracking issues as well. I shot 30, 30 second exposures of Orion and had to discard 16 images due to tracking errors (more than 50%). I am sure it's due to the springy thingy and with a little testing I should get better results. So, If you want an light and economical astrophotography rig, then this tracker is for you. I may change my rating to 5 stars once I figure out the springy thingy.

Star Tracking Mount
I saw this advertised and was also told about this by a visitor to the Museum where I volunteer. I had been looking for a device like this but had never seen one not powered by 110 volts. This is powered by a wind up spring and it worked perfectly when I finally got to try it. Seems like a good unit for a reasonable price.

Amazing!
This thing is amazing. You align it with Polaris, wind it up and let it do it’s thing. This photo is a single shot.... about 2 1/2 minutes of exposure. The mount tracked like a boss. I cannot wait to do more with it.

There's a Learning curve
Love the concept for compact (relatively), lightweight, and easy set-up. The learning curve involves the spring tension and placement of the camera relative to what I'm trying to shoot. Still learning.

Great so Far
I was able to get pinpoint stars with 34 second exposures using a 50mm lens on my Canon T3i. I suspect I could have easily gone twice as long.

Impressive tracking
This is a solid, well finished product. It is light and is easy to assemble, mount and use; clear instructions are provided on a web site whose address is given on a card in the box. I have used the mount on only three occasions so far (all short sessions curtailed by cloud, wind & rain (UK norm)), but tracking up to 60sec seems good using 55 & 70 mm lenses, 1.7 kg total mass (body, lens & ball-head). 4 stars, rather than 5, given because of short testing.

Faulty product recieved
I have repurchased this from the Omegon website, which works out cheaper, so hopefully the next one will last more than 20 seconds. Returned to the seller who issued a refund. Sellers communication could have been a lot better but we got there in the end (2 weeks, 3 emails)
