E-Learning Uncovered: Adobe Captivate 7 Paperback – June 28, 2013

This book is a great help for anyone who isn't an expert on using Adobe Captivate. I was a brand new user and found that the book was very helpful and easy to use when I needed to learn how to do something. One of my favorite aspects of this book and others written by E-Learning Uncovered is the fact that they mark what is new from the last version to this version, making it a great resource for someone already familiar with a previous version of the program and just needing to catch up on new features.

This book covers the basics and reads like a well thought out step-by-step process. However, it is lacking in explanation around advanced items such as action scripting. Nice reference book, but I will have to find help on action scripting from other resource, which is frustrating.

Purchased as a reference book for staff. Also used as text for internal training sessions. Well written, smartly organized. Highly recommended.

Diane does a great job of explaining the details of learning how to use Adobe Captivate. I love the tips she has on the sides of each page. She also points out what's new in each version. It's easy to follow and understand.

It was too simple for my needs. The book really just skims over features. Better for a user just beginning elearning.

very straightforward

There don't seem to be many books available for captivate 7 so I plumped for this one as it was inexpensive. This is more like a manual of how to find options in the software. I had hoped that there would be loads of hands on examples as I prefer learning this way and I think it's seriously lacking in this book.Back to trial and error for me.

Very good book.

Not in the same league as Adobe Classroom in a Book. I thought I'd pick up some tips but not really. I guess it might be okay for someone with zero eLEarning development experience but it's not for the experienced developer.
