Do you find these effective for super lows?

Easy to use when someone is very low and combative. Not as fast as liquid sugar aka coca cola etc.. but in a pinch there effective within 10-15 min.

Do these expire? If so, what is the shelf life?

They show an expiration date on the back of the package. I bought these about six months ago and they have an expiration date of 05/2017. I bet they have a three year plus shelf life.
