Best Mobile Indoor Bullet Trap with AR500 Steel Backplate for 22, 0.4 and 9 mm Caliber

It is a very substantial trap and tightly put together. I bought it for a high velocity air rifle that was tearing up my old pellet trap. This one is designed for much more powerful guns so for my purposes it's invulnerable. The rubber panel absorbs the pellets so there is no noise, no fragments and no backsplash. For low velocity pellet guns the rubber pad must be removed because they just bounce off but the thick steel back panel shows no wear at all. It's a good product and worth the extra cost to have a trap that's so sturdy.It arrived fully assembled so it was ready to use out of the box.

This is a well made heavy duty target trap. When you pick it up you know you have something in your hands. Generally speaking I am pleased with the product .......here comes the but....... but it seems as though the rubber from may need replacing more frequently than I thought. I have approximately 500 9mm fmj rounds through it and there is a hold bored through the rubber at the bullseye spot. This may be the only shortcoming of an otherwise great product.

If this unit is supposed to withstand 9mm strikes on the back plate then it should have much better fastening system for the plate than some little tack welds. I've worked a lot with items having these weaker welds, and they have not held up to less banging that 9mm rounds striking it. A screw down system would be much better than what they have, plus the plate could be replaced much easier by the general consumer. I would have returned the unit, but the company charges a 20% restocking fee, and I'm not about to give them $36 just to use the thing for a review. All of this will be mentioned in a full review in my magazine column and video series.

Makes for good training tool. I recommend removing the rubber face for using of pellet gun. Pellets bounce off. Though it was spent, one game back and hit my tummy. only fired one shot. (using a .177 cal, Crossman classic, at 4 pumps) I have placed cardboard to face and applied self sticking target, works sweet with all my pellet guns. All other calibers I use the rubber face. shot of the classic, at power(4 of 10). I Do highly recommend for any Basement range.

This is great. I decided to go with the 9mm plating due to a review on the .22mm plate. Well worth it. The plate held up great. Put 50 rounds in it in a close circle. Not a single dent. The foam held up well and self heals well. Looking forward to continuing to use to break in my new guns.Thank you guys for a great product

I bought this as a gift and the recipient has been very pleased with it. Although it is rated for up to 9mm they have been only shooting 22lr so far.
