I purchased these to allow my new washer to fit in my small laundry room. I guess the newer washers are deeper, which caused me some problems. Very happy with this purchase and they have worked without any problems for at least 1.5 years.

I had to use three rubber washers to make the connection water tight. It doesn't screw in all the way on wedding machines from southern Africa

I bought cheap new hoses with the new washer and after2 years they were bulging like..uh any way you don't need to hear about my dirty laundry.THese hoses are steel braded with 90% elbow on one end for easy instal on washer for tight to wall clearance and keeping the hoses from doing the kinking thing when your not looking behind the wahser. The steel brading is heavy duty to keep shaffing from happening when they jiggle behind the washer when its in spin mode. Beeing a mechanic I like quality stuff and these hoses are like man jewlery....well made and durable... they are worth their weight in gold as a blown washer hose can do quite a bit of water damage. Replace your washer hoses not the landry room in your house... Trust me don't take a chance on cheap or old hoses blow on you!

There's not much else you can say about a hose until several years pass without it leaking. I'd guess, judging by the material and construction quality, that this hose will be good for a long time, making it worth the purchase price.

One of my hoses arrived with wires in the braiding broken and hanging loose. Do I think it will affect the performance of the product? Probably not. It's just annoying and unfortunate. Otherwise, this seems like a well made product. Just poor quality control.
