Digital Aquatics ReefKeeper Lite (Plus) Controller

Great item but lack on customer service and working items. The ph probe doesnt work at all is old and defective. Send a email with no response. The probe has a 1 year lifetime and mine came with one from 2016 so is not good. I have a working ph tester gives me a reading if 7ph and the probe is at -5 to -10ph not even close to were it should be. Trying to calibrate with my ph solutions but doesnt lock in. Then theres the software, every time i conect my laptop to the reef k. It starts to reboot the hole thing constantly have to shut down the hole thing for several minutes for it to come back.Pay so much for something that i could have done with cheaper products. Very very disappointed.will not recomend

Awesome awesome product! Easy to set up and run. Shipping was super fast. Best thing I have spent money on for my hobby to date hands down!!

What a piece of dung. I'm sending mine back.My usb connection device was bad out of the box. And the documentation is terrible. Telephone support is worthless. You can exchange emails but don't expect a reply every time!The software for your computer is only available by download and you need to hunt for it.When I connect my computer I need to open and close the software and disconnect and reconnect the cables to establish communications. But even then I was un successful at getting the lights to work properly.It did have a pretty blue display but if you want more than the temperature you are probably out of luck.

The system is great but be careful. Mine arrive with one of the components dead. It took me 3 days to get someone at Digital Aquatics to get back to me after I emailed and left messages since they don't answer the phone. When they answer, they don't want to talk to you. Even on the phone they told me, "they would email me their answer when they decide if they would fix it or not" and I had to force them to answer me without hanging up. Then when they emailed me and said they would replace the brand new unused defective part, they told me that I would have to pay for shipping it to them in a email. I called them back and told them I was not going to pay to ship a brand new item back and the guy tries to hang up saying they would email me again. I told him "no" just tell me now what you are going to do. He then offered to sell me a new one to which I said, ok. I know not the brightest answer, but he said it would be $20 and I figure I would just be done with this. Once I said ok, he said I would have to hang up and order online, that he could not help me again. At this point I said this is rediculous. So I am still waiting now for them to replace the dead part.The system seems great and the seller I bought it from I did not have a problem with. But after talking to the manufacturer I will not buy another Digital Aquatics product unless I have someone I can deal with locally to back it up, otherwise they could care less about helping you and standing behind their products.

I have read the reviews on this product and all seem to be bad. I have the reef keeper lite and have had no problems with it in the last 6 months. Sure this is not the like the very high end controllers but for me it works great and controls all the functions on my reef tank.
