Terrific clay
Outstanding clay. Fires beautifully at cone 6. Very easy to work with on the wheel. Usually itโs very soft, although one bag I received was a bit more sandy feeling. Iโm older so this clay is easier on my hands to center on the wheel and to form. Perfect moisture content. Drying time is average but unlike another clay I tried this one doesnโt crack green ware as itโs drying. Customer service is awesome. My shipment ended up in a a nearby city due to carrier not the seller. So I contacted Rocky Mountain and they sent me a new shipment. Several days later the first shipment arrived on my doorstep by , Iโm assuming, the person who got my order. So I contacted the seller via Amazon so they could charge me for it . The glaze works perfectly on this clay body . Iโll definitely order again.

Excellent B-Mix Clay, fully vitrified at cone 6, very good for throwing and hand building!
I really like this clay! It is fully vitrified at cone 6, fires to a cream white color, seems compatible with all of the glazes I use (occasionally I get some pinging post fire, but no crawling), it is very plastic and smooth to work with, doesn't have much grog at all, and has worked well for me for throwing and for hand building. My only criticism is that it typically arrives overly moist and takes some wedging or letting it sit to dry a bit before use, as otherwise is too sticky. It is fairly expensive on Amazon, I think that is probably because of bundling in shipping costs in the price, but it is still a good choice. Compared to another popular B-mix, I feel it is far superior, as the other brand often bloats at cone 6 and still isn't fully vitrified, (2%+ absorbtion).

great clay and customer service
ordered this item and 1 bag appeared to be stolen... the box looked like someone had ripped it open and took 1 of the 25lb bags. messaged the seller and a couple days later they sent the rest of the order... good quality clay.

Worth a try
Was not easy to work with. Did alot of crazing. But it could be because I wasn't familiar with working it.

Convenient and cost effective delivery
This was my first time ordering this clay through Amazon. The cost plus shipping is reasonable considering a trip to the nearest pottery shop would take an hour round trip. That alone makes it worth it for me.
