Wow, not even close. The product description is a total lie. Check out the huge gaps in the photos. Terrible wobble, even with a screw-type receiver pin torqued down hard.

Well constructed, does what it is supposed to do. Trouble is, it's a little loose, both in the way it fits inside my hitch receiver and the way my bike rack fits inside of it. I'm not sure this is avoidable, as if they made the tolerances much tighter you'd have to use a hammer to slide the pieces together. But as it stands, I had to add a hitch tightener (a gizmo with a U-shaped thing that bolts on to prevent everything from moving around), which is frustrating as it is a pain to install and remove.

This is a simple item with one purpose: make a 1.25" hitch or device fit into a 2" receiver. In my case, the device is a bike rack. The rack has a 1.25" bar that slides into the receiver. When I slide this adapter onto the rack, the holes line up perfectly when it is slid all the way on. This is important because otherwise you have to try to line up three sets of holes, which requires some finesse. I don't know if this would be the case for everyone, but it worked out perfectly for me.

This product works like it was designed to. I've read reviews where people complain that there was too much play or it wiggled to much. If there wasn't a little play inserting this then you would have to drive it in with a hammer and leave it.I use this with my bike rack and an eight inch drop ball to pull a utility trailer with. Minimal play, very secure and works like it was made to.

Sloppy fit & changed from black to a copper-brownish color. Has been on my vehicle just over a month and hasn't been through car washes or anything, yet has changed color. Not a great fit but if you don't mind your bike rack bouncing around more than you'd expect it does to job. I wouldn't trust it with a trailer.

It’s ok at best. Better than the plastic option that came with the bike carrier, by, by no means is it great. I had to use additional cinching straps to make safe and secure for a 500 mile drive

I just purchased a new Subaru Outback, and had the dealership install the factory 2" hitch. My bike rack is 1 1/4", so I needed an adaptor. They gave me one that didn't fit very well, it had too much clearance to the hitch. This adaptor has actually size specs on Amazon's site, so I know it would fit much better.Happy camper.

did not realize that I would have to drill a 5/8 hole to be able to use when converting to the smaller receiver size. But worked great after. Should have checked to see if someone already made a stepped down retainer bolt or sleeve.
