38 Super, originally a semi-rimmed case where crimping a bullet ...
Several of my many handguns are chambered in the ubiquitous .38 Super, originally a semi-rimmed case where crimping a bullet was the norm, and now currently headspaced on the case mouth requiring a special type of crimp. Some use a taper crimp, some use this fine Lee Factory Crimp die. If you are overly energetic on your ammo cases for reloading, and trim to specs, this is by far the best crimp for 38 auto,38 Super, and the 38 Super +P. The body of the case is also sized for those idiots that wish to "soup-up" the normal 38 Super to Super super pressures and velocities without using the 38 Super Comp Brass and guns available for this specialty type shooting. Always remember to check your finished crimped and loaded round in a Dillon,Wilson,Or Lyman case gauge after loading.

Don't load home without it
works perfectly , a must when loading hi cup pressure auto pistol rounds like 38 super + P . for consistent accuracy , and tight groups .

Lee makes great products affordable
As advertised. Easier to set the seating die and then crimp in a separate step, at least for me. Lee makes great products affordable.

I really like the Lee Factory crimp dies. They are not that expensive and do an excellent job.

Lee factory crimp die.
I have not used this yet but I have used one on 357 Sig brass and it worked well. I don't see why this will not work as well with 38 Super
