Unpopular opinion, I LOVE this polish
This polish on its own is not glossy, so the title can be a little misleading.I just LOVE how it is so different. It’s versatile. you can pair it with a black undercoat for a smoother look. Or just layer on two coats for a chippy edgey look. It can be matte looking if you leave off a top coat, but be warned this only lasts a few days before it chips off. If you add a top coat it is glossier and more subtle and lasts longer. A base coat also extends the length you can wear it, depending on your nail type.I love a dark black look on my nails. This one did not disappoint.

Worth every penny
I love, love, love this nail polish ... any color. The thing that makes Essie so amazing is, it last a long time. I have had the same shade on for 2 weeks and it hasn't chipped or dulled. And all without a gel topcoat. I like gel polish, but it is too bothersome to remove. Now I don't have to. You will not be disappointed.UPDATE: I hate to say something negative, because I do like this polish, BUT ... I've noticed that this polish doesn't last too long on real nails. I took my acrylics off to let my nails "breathe" and I put this polish on my natural nails. It's pretty, but it chipped after only a couple of days. As soon as I get another manicure, I will take this to the shop and have them apply it, so I would still recommend this brand.

Perfect sparkly holiday nails!
This polish is gorgeous! I tend to go for darker colors, but I'm always worried that the glittery ones will make me look like I'm trying too hard to look younger than I am! This one just looks classicly beautiful! It's got enough shimmer to be fun and not a "scary" matte black...not that that's scary to me. I just love it and think it's perfect for holiday partys! If you're not familiar with Essie in general, they have great quality polish. I put them in the same category as OPI and China Glaze...when you get fresh ones of any of them! That's often the problem with getting nail polish online. You end up getting last year's or older, and they just don't hold up that well. This seller and this particular polish is fresh and legit.I'll try to get some pictures up for you. The pictures the seller has up are pretty accurate.

Alright, not what I was expecting
The matte finish is interesting, but I can't add a clear coat to it otherwise it kills the effect. The matte is a nice silky matte, not crusty or chunky like some I've tried.Spun in Luxe looked like it was going to be a metallic navy blue, however it is actually just a cool black. Not bad, but yeah, not what I was expecting.

You can't go wrong with Essie!!
This is definitely one of my top favorite Essie shades. If u use their gel top coat, it lasts longer.

Loved from inception.
I remember when Essie first released this collection (Encrusted treasure). I went to my local CVS and bought Belugaria. I loved it then and I still love it now. This polish was ridiculed, made fun of, put down, was misunderstood, it was before its time. It has texture, glitter, personality, caviar! It will forever be one of a kind, timeless and one of my favorites.

Do NOT buy
The Nail polish is wrong, it should look really cool but there’s something wrong with this polish that’s giving it a chunky gritty clumpy feeling and appearance. Do yourself a favor, if you want this effect buy a good black and a bottle of Sally Hanson snow globe (if you can find it. Same look, no grit. Be warned, snow globe is a pain to take off. The photos in the other reviews are accurate. It’s bad polish. The one on the left is the one advertised and the one on the right is my diy version

matches Kashima Fox Fork pretty well
Only a mountain biker will get this review - I scratched my kashima coating on my 2020 fox 36 fork. I sanded the scratch gently then used this to match the coating. Came out looking pretty good. I tried 2 others I got at local store but this was the best one after days of looking for the perfect nail polish. After about 100 miles its still holding well to the fork
