Super anime hope there will be more.

It’s another “trapped in another world” anime, but in my opinion it has just enough charm, character, and cool concepts that it doesn’t become boring to the point of giving up on it.

Waiting for season 2 to come out

I like it

This is a continuous show not stand alone episodes. Good characters, English dubbing is great. That being said I bought the digital from Amazon for only 20 dollars. I do not understand the scalping like the price is $599..or whatever. I understand supply and demand but that is crazy. I can see it twice it's normal price of around $80 - 100 as one may have the last available copy but that is it. Just buy the digital as it is worth the $20.

Besides the blurays and dvds, this limited edition came with a nice chipboard box, a small artbook with the usual profiles of all the main characters, and a small acrylic standee of Satou which needs to be assembled. I have that on my computer desk, and it looks fairly nice. I split the cost with a friend who only wanted the dvds, so it was quite reasonable.I have been reading the novels and the mangas, both of which have slightly different stories and go beyond the anime. The details add a lot of depth to the story. This series has a small twist on the usual "summoned to/reincarnated another world" trope. The character named Satou is an overworked 30 year old game programmer working on debugging both a smartphone and a PC fantasy MMORPG game. He falls asleep after over 30 hours straight working, and wakes up in a world that is a fusion of both games he was working on, including a feature he had just reactivated. But the visual details are much more detailed than any game and there is backstory that didn't exist in the real world.Before long, Satou is the owner of five slave girls plus has two additional female companions, and a noble soldier who is interested in him. Beyond the anime, even more potential girlfriends are introduced, and Satou becomes a popular noble with an alternate hero persona.I recommend both the anime and the novels, and certainly hope the anime will get another season picking up the story where season 1 left off.

ＢＤ・ＤＶＤ共に日本国内向けのプレーヤーで再生出来ました（当方PanasonicのBDレコーダー)。しかもどちらのディスクも字幕のON・OFFを選択できました。限定版とゆう事もありおまけが付いていて価格は少々高めですが、日本語選択時に強制字幕がなく国内向けプレーヤーで再生出来るので買いだと思います。

Ordered this on the recommendation of a friend who loved it and generally has mostly the same tastes as me. This time it was a bad decision. Also this is the combination blue/dvd with a bonus book and plastic accessory item (if I had know this I would have looked for a regular less pricey one without the bonus)For the most part I found a lot of the supporting characters became background characters very quickly rather than being developed in any meaningful way and thus become one dimensional at best. As well, the level system, with the main character being 310 doesn't really seem to have any purpose of scale since you know he's tough but you don't get any semblance of how tough. There's a few more issues I have with this one but I can't think of them off the top of my head.The few redeeming qualities is why I'm opting for a 3/5 score. Firstly, and it's a bit odd, I really enjoy the ending music and have caught myself humming it several times. Secondly, I do enjoy the series is doing a slower development of the plot, although I feel this lowers the chance they will actually do a season 2.
