These Cyclone intake manifolds from Professional Products are designed to fit engine swaps using the 1996 and later Vortec cast iron heads or the Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. These manifolds can be used on any Chevy V8 engine utilizing the late Vortec head. They have a provision for an external water bypass. These Cyclone Vortec intake manifolds feature 4-corner water outlets, dual distributor hold-downs, a square bore carb adapter and gasket, and will work with late model style water neck, alternator, HEI, and air conditioning brackets.

Poor quality part
I ordered this for a vortec head swap on an old Chevy pickup. The angle of the intake manifold, and the angle of the heads are different, and the gaskets won’t seal. Poor quality, I’m sending this one back and ordering a better one. On the good side, I contacted the seller (JEGS) and they were extremely helpful.

The title is incorrect!
Received Intake yesterday, great manifold however it came as Satin finish not Polished as the title stated. Happy hunting for car parts. Thanks

False Advertising. I'll be returning mine.
Packing slip clearly says it's polished, box clearly says it's satin. Manifold is most certainly not polished, just the typical sand-casting roughness of a satin-finish manifold. Looks like I'm in the same boat as several other recent reviewers. If I wanted a satin finish I would have gone for Jegs' whitebox manifold which I know is based on a Weiand casting for $135 shipped... Would have been a cheaper, better manifold that would fit performance carbs like Holley, Edelbrock, Demon, etc. without needing a square-bore adapter plate. Kinda feel like I just got ripped off by false advertising here. Stay away from this manifold folks, get it from Jegs unless you plan on running a quadrajet and actually want a spreadbore manifold.
