NO WARRANTY!!!! Stopped working in 6 months.
Purchased this in June 2023 stopped working February 2024. Contacted seller for warranty information and was told LG will honor the warranty. Well that was a lie. So now I have to purchase another one and hopefully it lasts for more than 6 months.

I haven't had much success with local appliance repairmen and I don't have any skills related to repairing appliances. Nevertheless, I went to Amazon with my refer model and serial number and looked for a new ice maker. It arrived a few days later and I was able to install it in about 15 minutes without any problem. I think the ice maker coast about $130...if I had used an appliance repairman there would have been multiple visits and a bill approaching $300. Go for it, you can do it. (BTW, I had a problem with my dishwasher. I went to amazon, got the mother board and installed it...another appliance repaired at very low cost!)
