Oak Compression Type Quilt Rack Tapestry Rug Hanger - Your Custom Size and Color up to 36"

Product is as advertised. Good quality and the exact size I requested. One piece of advice for future buyers: when deciding what size to order, look at your tapestry and see if the corners have knots or are otherwise a lot thicker than the rest of the tapestry. I ordered a hanger that was a 1/2 inch longer on each side of my tapestry. It looks great but the problem is that the knots on the corners are so thick, the hanger doesn’t hold the middle thinner material because the two pieces of wood can’t get close enough to pinch the fabric. Next time I would order a hanger that is slightly shorter than the tapestry so the knots can stick out the ends of the hanger.

This handmade quilt hanger was crafted with care. The artisan contacted us to find out our stain choice/length, then kept us updated as to the completion and expected delivery date- it took a few weeks but was well worth the wait! The quilt is held by compression and this quilt hanger is the perfect finishing touch! Recommend!

This hanger is made of plywood. The one I received is split on one end, chunks of ply are missing, there are NO keyhole slots and the stain is uneven (see photos). There is also a crack in the face. Buyer beware!

This hanger is just what I needed for a 5 foot grass tapestry (hung vertically). It is solid hardwood, and well made. The best part is that it won't damage the tapestry at all--the entire thing is held together by compression. I was worried about it not being tight enough because the tapestry isn't as thick as a quilt, but it works beautifully.Thank you for a great product. The price is worth it for being able to display my art tastefully without worrying about any damage.

It’s a beautiful piece of wood but doesn’t hold the quilt. The quilt was unable to be hung even with additional support as it kept sliding out.

This is the second time I have bought one of these hangers from Matlock Woodworks. I hang decorative horse blankets from them in my living room. They are sturdier enough to hold this rugged material. I especially like that I had to buy two different sizes and he was able to accommodate me. He is also available by e-mail if you need to discuss something with him. That's better than what Amazon provides!

We are very pleased with our custom rug hangar from Matlock. Very nicely made and finished, easy to assemble. Highly recommend.
