How do you change the light bulb? I am not able to remove the spring in side to get to the socket.

It's difficult to change the lightbulb in the lamps. The catchers that keep the lampshade on are very tight and snap back really hard. I broke a couple of bulbs. You just have to try to get in there and feel with your hand that you're going to let one loose but don't let it knock the shade out of your hands. That's the best I can tell you .

Can i use e12 bulbs more than 40 watts? what is the max watts?

I bought e12 12 watt / 1200 lumen and they were way to bright. It completely takes away from the beautiful colored glass. I ended up using night light bulbs and it's gorgeous. To much wattage ruins the effect of the lamp. I have a table lamp version too and had to do the same thing. It is one of the most beautiful lamps I've ever seen when you put in a very low watt bulb like a night light bulb.which are 4 to 7 watts and inexpensive.

Can i use this outdoors in a gazebo?

I certainly would advise against it. Although the globes are not flimsy, remember they are covered in pieces of glass. If any wind/strong breeze came up, I believe you would have a glass disaster on your hands. Again, I wouldn't use these outside at all.
