Perfect for adding WiFi capability to any consumer device that only has ethernet and USB ports.
This device does exactly what it says on the tin. In my case, that was to set it up as an ethernet to WiFi bridge to my main broadband router (that supplies our internet connectivity) for my Humax DTR-T1000 Youview box, which only has an ethernet network connection, as I wanted to move it to another room where there was no physical network connection. The instruction booklet that came with it covered all the options that this device was capable of and was fairly well written and easy to understand. Within a very short time, I managed to set the device up as bridge/repeater (but I also chose to suppress its associated hotspot that was also available) back to/for my main router (using my smartphone to connect to it initially) then rebooted the device to change its configuration. I finally unplugged it from the USB power connection I was using (just for power) and plugged both cables into the T1000's ethernet and USB ports on its rear. It immediately powered up and "voila!", internet connectivity wirelessly back to my broadband connection. Excellent device and great value for what it does. I can't recommend this highly enough for what it does. (see photo)

Brilliant product despite iffy documentation
I had a Sky+ box and smart TV, each connected to a separate power link Ethernet cable - the Sky box is old tech and requires a "wired" connection and the TV has terrible builtin WiFi, and the power link devices suffer from poor electrical wiring in that part of the house so they are also rubbish. This device comes with less than obvious instructions, but here is what worked for me... It can be configured in all sorts of ways, but what I needed was the Bridge/Repeater mode configuration. This is fairly easy - plug both the Ethernet and USB (for power) cables into a computer then open a browser pointing at 192.168.253.254 and enter userid/password as admin/admin then select the Operating Mode tab and change from Router to WiFi Bridge + Signal Repeater mode, click Apply then Reboot. When it comes back login again and it should should show wireless connections, select your own router then click Next and supply the router password (as in the one printed on the back of the actual router). It then requires that you press Reboot and this is where the instructions get vague... the lights on the unit will start to flash, indicating all is well, but your browser page will never refresh. Don't worry - its good to go now. I then plugged the USB and Ethernet cables into the Sky box, thereby fooling it that it had a wired connection and reconfigured the TV to use the "new router" which is the same as the old router name plus an additional suffix. The signal from this device is awesome and both Sky box and TV now have great internet connections.

Don’t waste your time
Heap of rubbish - instructions garbage, and after 90 minutes of faffing around and not getting connection I decided to return it.

Amazing value and size
Bought this mini router as a cheap WiFi to Ethernet bridge to get a Windows 10 PC without a WiFi adapter into a Hotel wireless broadband. Had to use my laptop to configure it, find the admin credentials in the (tiny print) manual, and select the right options from the extensive screens. Once successfully connected to the WAN, it works flawlessly and reliably, too much blinking, would be nice to reduce the LED usage sometimes. The form factor is minimal, much smaller than I expected but cable length sufficient to connect to a back pane. There are Wizards for most functionality usually to be found only in more expensive routers. A decent piece of hardware well worth the price.

Poor documentation. Once set up, works well and reliably.
Not easy to set up because documentation is poorly written. Explanation of setting up is ambiguous, and English appears to suffer from using cut and paste with a translation program. Once set up, works reliably. LED lights far too bright.

Great idea, but execution not great
It's slightly fiddly to set up, and the speeds aren't great. But it does fix a problem where a single device has Ethernet but no Wi-Fi

Decent cheap little WiFi bridge
Good little unit, being used as a wifi bridge to connect an HP printer with only ethernet connection, which is not easily accessible to the network in our new house. The documentation for the unit is a bit sketchy, but I managed to get it working with the wizard and a few tweaks / tries to connect. Once working seems solid and provides a decent connection for the purpose.
