When I was a child my mother used to give us cod liver oil daily and it haunted me forever! I almost did not want to buy this and start taking it again. However, the flavor is amazing - it is light and not super oily like I remember. Could have just been the old memories haunting me though..lol So glad I purchased, my whole family takes it even my nieces who are 5 and 7! Great product!

If it was unprocessed that would be a big selling point so it should be on the label. Since many of the nutrients are susceptible to heat processing making them way less efficient or even destroyed altogether. I believe vitamin a and vitamin e are both temperature sensitive.

The only reason this isn't a 5-start review is because it's 3X as expensive as regular cod liver oil. My wife and I take this daily, and we just can't justify spending that much a month. We'll deal with a brief inconvenience of taste for a MUCH less expensive version.
