My favorite flannel sheet set is a Laura Ashley set from about 8 years ago, I still use and love them. Foolishly thinking the new sheets would be made of similar quality as the old ones, I purchased this set. They balled up within the first 3 uses and never softened. I am tempted to just throw them away. Sometimes pretty isn't enough.

Along with being cozy and comfortable, my Laura Ashley sheets are beautiful. Excellent quality, these sheets are thick flannel. This sheet set is the third set I have purchased.

Very well made with nice deep pockets on the fitted sheet. Seams are straight and no flaws in fabric or quality. They are extremely soft from the first use to after many washings. Pillowcases are big enough for my i-pillow. Love the soft colors and design. Zero complaints and this is what I expect from Laura Ashley products. **I do not recommend putting flannel sheets in the dryer if possible. I have an indoor clothesline I use in winter to dry mine. I have been using flannel sheets for several years and find that they last much longer with line drying. Using the dryer even just for 2 winters time much of the "fluff" of the flannel fibers end up in the lint screen and then the bottom sheet starts thinning. ** With that said this is my first time I have purchased Laura Ashley flannel sheets, so maybe the quality will hold up better than cheaper lesser known brands I have had in the past. I love these sheets so much that I don't want to risk machine drying.

First, I have been buying Laura Ashley home good brand since early 1980s. I have always been fully satisfied with my purchase. This flannel sheets are an exception. Flannel piling after first initial use. I have had to use the wrong side of the fitted sheet because it was scratchy and the piling was irrupting my skin. I have to say I have purchase lauraAshley sheets from Wayfair last year and this piling did not happen . Second, I want you to know this is the first time I have written a negative report of anything I have purchased from Amazon. I also have never returned an item and did not do so because I already used this sheets. You solicited this review and I have to tell the truth.

I have another set of flannel sheets, also purchased from Amazon and even less money. However, they did not have a great color selection so I went to this one. I should have stayed with the others. These are pretty rough for flannel - I am hoping that after several washes wear them a bit they will get softer. They are also "flannel" only on one side. Strange. And you would think Laura Ashley would be the most awesome. I will not buy these again. Go with the ones you cannot choose colors on - they are so soft and warm.

Very delighted. Soft and cozy but not too thick. I don't agree with other reviewer that these sheets are stiff. To me they're a perfect flannel weight. I don't care for "extra heavyweight" style because it's too hot to sleep under. These are breathable. Also happy with fitted sheet (approx 14-inch pocket). Sheets that come with "extra deep pockets" don't hug my mattress. This set fits nicely and sheet doesn't sag. Laura Ashley never fails to make a beautiful print.

These pill and are thin. The worst problem is the fitted sheets don't have the normal sewn corners that align with the corners on the mattress making them difficult to get them on the mattress correctly. If they didn't fit one way, I would rotate the fitted sheet and it still didn't fit on the mattress. I have never seen or had any sheets made like these with funky corners on the fitted sheet. Waste of money, not up to the name of Laura Ashley. It's a shame a company goes south, but still rest on their laurels from the time when the name equaled a high standard.

If I hadn't washed these sheets before putting them on my bed, I'd have returned them in a heartbeat. While they are a beautiful pattern and stayed wrinkle-free, they are the most uncomfortable sheets I've ever slept on. I washed and dried according to the tag and they are still that awful scratchy and uncomfortable flannel. I'm livid given the price I paid for them. Definitely goes to show that choosing to pay the higher price thinking you'll get a great product is not always a good thing. Skip these sheets.

The title description does say these are king sized sheets BUT within the item details, there is a drop- down option to choose another size besides king, before adding to cart.Thinking the description must have been a typo, I ordered queen sized sheets. When they arrived, of course they were for a king bed.I ended up returning the sheets, and Amazon was amazing, of course. Lesson learned!

Very disappointed. Purchased two sets of flannel sheets. This set being almost $50 more expensive. The sheets are thin, don’t feel like flannel, are scratchy even after a few washings. The pattern is so pretty and they do fit my double bed well. But I would have been better off purchasing two of the other set for almost the same cost as this...

Very beautiful floral print. High quality material, the sheet is thick enough to be a light blanket. Flannel cotton, so keeps you warm, not really for the hot seasons.

These sheets are a lovely colour and pattern. They are very thick, soft and well-made. I washed them and put them on the bed right away and they are so warm and comfy cozy. I'm very happy with this purchase and may order a second set in a different colour.
